  • Sean Carroll on Fine-Tuning Argument

A neat little titbit from a discussion about physics and philosophy. Here's Sean Carroll answering a question about a possible fine-tuned universe:

I love listening to physicists talking about the universe. So much more interesting than someone pointing to meagre folk wisdom in an old book and saying "the answers are all here!"

Full discussion here: (Meta)Physics: Hans Halvorson and Sean Carroll at Caltech

Too fucking busy, and vice versa.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'
