How do you pronounce "Ibn" ?

Well, it's a hamzat wasl that is pronounced if it comes at the beginning and merged with the previous letter if it comes in the middle. If it comes in the middle of names in a lineage, it is dropped from written form.
If it stands at the beginning, it is pronounced and written ibn (ابن), as in ibn 'Abbas.
If it comes in the middle of two names of a lineage (nasab), it is written بن (bin), but should technically still be pronounced connected to the name prior. I realize this probably makes no sense as I write it, so I'll try to give an example along with some phonetics.
For example, the name Muhammad bin Rashid should be written محمد بن راشد. Most accurately, it should be pronounced in conjunction with the tanween at the end of Muhammad(un), so "MuhammadunibnuRashidin"
Unless you are like a real scholar or Arabic grammar nazi, though, no one would ever really say it like that.
For all practical purposes, the name would be pronounced "Muhammad Bin Rashid."
