I'm a fan of Star Wars, probably nowhere near as much as you.

May the mass*acceleration be with you.

I believe you need to have a certain number of posts to upload directly to this forum. What you can do is upload to somewhere like tinypic and link the image url.

Far easier to set up a throwaway account on Photobucket, Flickr or similar and share the image URLs in between img tags.

I'll have to do that when I have more time. Got to watch that Game of Thrones episode 8 my work colleagues were telling me about.

Welcome back Jedi! I'd love to see your Star wars collection. Although I'm more of a Star Wars dilettante than a true fan, but its still super cool, imo.  Afro

This made me chuckle as I considered the alternative of being dead and living. Not that Cornflower wouldn't also be as awesome a zombie as she is a human. Grin

Well, you can be alive but not truly living, if you get my point. Or perhaps if you say that you survive, but you are not truly living... Am I making any sense? It's hard to translate the meaning I want to get across  Roll Eyes

While I love my guitar, it is actually more of a challenge than just a passion. It feels great when you can make it speak the way you want it to, but it also requires an amount of effort that makes it more than simply a pleasurable experience. If I had to list the passion that I completely lose myself in, it would definitely be riding my bike.

How far east, Berbs? Thai? China? Korea? Japan?

I've been on a Thai kick recently. Their food tastes so different than anything else. And it's fucking delicious.

Yep, Thai, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese.........it's all so god damn tasty.  Yum Yum

I've been transforming my cupboard contents slowly and surely into one that can produce these delectable delights whenever I fancy.

Good stuff. I'm really loving what thai basil, sweet chili, peanut sauce, and coconut milk can do to a meal. It's a cuisine that is really underrepresented where I am. You'll have to post some of your creations along with some recipes.  yes

It's a shame that our locations can make it more difficult to obtain certain foods/ingredients.  Food is just too awesome to be so limited.

Where I live there are loads and loads of East Asian restaurants and supermarkets.  means I can get just about anything I need to satisfy my cravings for it.

Where I used to live however I could get way more Caribbean, Ethiopian and Nigerian food.  (that's some tasty food too right thurrr)

But yea, I will dig up that food thread next time I'm making a dish.  My own gratification largely depends on whether my kids will eat it, and they are in a fussy phase.  I hate cooking 2 meals at a time.  Grin

My kids are like that. I try my best to cook extras of favorites so that the one who turns up his or her nose at the next dinner will have the option to eat the leftovers from the previous night.
