    Any resources (vids, articles, etc.) debunking these kinds of claims of "harnessing energy" to cure diseases or crystal magic and the like?

    I'm looking for sort of an introductory primer, of the scientific inaccuracies of these claims for someone who has already bought into the bullshit. Maybe something about how it contradicts the germ theory of disease, or an introduction to the scientific research into these failed ideas.

    I'd recommend James randi. Bulk of his work over the decades has been exposing these charlatans.

    I think it's best to read journals, learn more on the matter, take into account the scientific consensus, see the available evidence, and then draw a conclusion, rather than taking a sites word on the matter. It'll introduce that person (who believes in that stuff) to the tentative nature of of science, and make him realize the importance of the scientific method. I think this is the best way to root out pseudoscience.
