Freethinker here. I still entertain ideas of God but not in one from any brand of religion.

Freethinker too, not ruling out that there is  (i dont like the word God lol)  a sole source out there and celestial beings, aliens whatever you want to call them, but world religions are a human construct.

    Athiest.
I think the idea of god in a whole is just an archetype that most people don't want to let go of.

I have no problem if you're religious, that's your belief but no shoving it in my face.

Just like Johnny Flynn said, the breath I've taken and the one I must to go on.

Ex convert. I don't know if there is god or not, I don't even want to think in such terms. I think organised religion is pointless and unreasonable.  Is it agnosticism or scepticism?  Too many terms Wink
I will celebrate xmass and easter though, I loved them as a child, although I never attached any religious feelings to it. It always looked at it as a family holiday and Polish tradition.

    Atheist.

I don't believe in a god, or any replacement type of explanation.

I think it would be nice for something to occur once we die, so that some sort of journey is still ahead of us, but then again I also think it would be nice if dragons and unicorns existed, and that I was a dragonrider with killer magical powers, but that isn't happening anytime soon either.

Inhale the good shit, exhale the bullshit.

In terms of 'religiosity' I am a skeptic. Give me your argument and I will analyse/evaluate it. If found wanting I will discard it until further evidence/argumentation is provided.

I've got no time for bullshit.

Ignostic Apatheism, but in practice this comes down to atheism, and when speaking to a person who doesn't understand atheism (or agnosticism), i have to call myself agnostic. Or else they will consider it a major concession when they make me 'admit' that i don't know 100% that there is no god.

"Ignosticism is the view that any religious term or theological concept presented must be accompanied by a coherent definition. Without a clear definition such terms cannot be meaningfully discussed"

Im not sure if apatheism is a real word, but i use to express the fact that it doesnt matter to me if there is a god. It is not that the question isnt interesting, but that i wont be submitting, worshiping and obeying, even if you convinced me that she is real.

dr_sloth... you pretty much summed up my views on theology.
Igtheism (theological noncognitivism) is a position which I am drawn towards but I would currently label myself as an agnostic (atheist).
However, my apatheist views stem from the equivocal nature of the term "God".

My mind runs, I can never catch it even if I get a head start.

Dr Sloth shares some of the same views as I do. Namely religious definitions of God are incoherent at best, nonsense at the worst

The idea of a god has been rolling around since a very long time, but yet there hasn't been one single religion that has stayed the whole entire time for start till now. Even the Abrahamic god had came in pretty late in the game, while there were other much more powerful and lasting deities.
Honestly it seems once we get tired of one god or religion we just make up another (as in the Protestant reformation for example).
History just repeats itself, all you need is a influential figure to conduct the symphony and gullible individuals to believe it.

    It's that simple.

Just like Johnny Flynn said, the breath I've taken and the one I must to go on.

Agnostic Atheist if I have to be precise, but somewhat Apatheist whistling2

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God." - Epicurus

These days I describe myself as an Agnostic Muslim. Partly out of convenience and partly because I accept that Islam has influenced a great deal about my identity, culture, food, outlook etc... I am quite comfortable using Islamic greetings & phrases and other customs.

Of course I don't believe in Islam in the traditional sense and am Agnostic about God. If there is a God, then he... it... is not the very human "Abrahamic God", but perhaps something more like the pantheistic view of God.

I also believe that people throughout the ages have felt inspired by whatever forces have shaped this universe, and that everyone communicates that inspiration in their own way, through their context, time and character. So I'm happy to accept Muhammad was inspired in this sense, just as Michelangelo, Shakespeare, or Jimi Hendrix. But the Qur'an is a very human book and while in places it is quite moving, it is very flawed in other parts and has not stood the test of time well.

Woah! Not sure why I felt moved to write all that lol  grin12

    Agnostic Atheist.

There may or not be a god/higher power but I believe that knowledge of such a being is beyond human knowledge. So I'm agnostic with regards to the existence of god. But religions are all completely man made as far as I'm concerned.
