My kids are now afraid to sleep or eat. Their aunts told them if they sleep in different directions from each other or if there is a gap between them then shaytan will sleep with them and do horrible things to their dreams, maybe hurt them or even kill them in their sleep.

when they eat they should eat in a circle and face each other or the shaytan will eat with them and if he drools in their food and they eat it, then they will die.

I wish I was! It's after 11pm here and I've been sitting in this room in the floor for 2 hours now trying to get them to sleep because of this.

I can't express how much coming here to Riyadh from the U.S. has totally turned me away from Islam.

Mecca was the biggest turning point for me. Having some guard dog woman completely covered in black with her face entirely veiled with some badge on her arm shouting at me and my SIL to get behind some plastic move able fencing to pray caused me to lose it. She was shouting at us "yella, yella...blah, blah, blah" and then a man with a badge came over and was forcing us in. This area was tiny and full of women stacked like dominos. The only thought I had was barn animals being stuffed into a pen. Even at mecca they remove the women from the way for prayers. Even at Mecca they don't allow the wife to pray with the husband. I cried and refused to pray and left. I didn't go back the whole time my husband, son and and sister in law didn't Hajj. I just couldn't believe it.

I was already touchy because my sister in law told my 5 year old son that if he didn't shower in Taif then the Devils would get into him.

Sounds like you are in a pretty horrible situation there. Would you like to do an into? I mean just so we could perhaps get an idea on what's going on and perhaps offer some advice.

I never got to do Hajj but my ex went and he said it was a crazy experience, rather than be spiritual he spent the whole time having to fend off people punching and kicking him because the crowds got out of hand.

Hajj grossed me out. All those overweight, hairy guys walking with their feet half in their sandals with their legs spread a mile apart because free - balling was chaffing their hot, dangle ball sacks. Just, yuck.

i thought it was dumb that men went to Hajj naked except for a white cloth, but women still went in full burqa and niqabs. My husband said men HAVE to go like that because this is what they will be wrapped in after death and they will go to Allah for judgment naked. When I asked will women be judged naked he replied, yes. So, I asked why women aren't allowed to do Hajj the same as men. He said it was a stupid question. I told him it wasnt. His sister laughed and said can you even imagine women wrapping in a white cloth with no hijab? I said, yes. Ever heard of a white robe? They didn't like that too much.
