  • I spoke to a dawahist yesterday
     OP - November 03, 2014, 10:31 AM

I was walking by and said, you know, there is no god, he replied, well spoken, intelligently, let's talk about that, I walked on.

I was freaked out by the memories.  Of the power of preachers and how easily people are drawn in by sweet words.  Of their danger.

    The sirens.

We need new myths to describe these sweet sounding ghouls!  To frighten people away from these zombie makers!

Would others help me describe the emotions - not the words they use - and how they are so skilled at using them?  Their methods of enchanting and spreading magick spells.

When you are a Bear of Very Little Brain, and you Think of Things, you find sometimes that a Thing which seemed very Thingish inside you is quite different when it gets out into the open and has other people looking at it.

    Far away across the field
The tolling of the iron bell
Calls the faithful to their knees
To hear the softly spoken magic spells.
