The idea here is that the systems we are a part of force us to compete and thus perpetuate suffering. Socialization only works in tempering the competitiveness of non-jerks, thus these attempts will not work in reducing suffering via competition, as jerks always rise to dominate a system regardless of socialization. Thus as dominant strategies cannot help but be competitive, ergo we are forced to compete and perpetuate suffering.

Yeah, this argument needs polishing, but I figured I'd throw it out there anyway.

Some guy called Siddhārtha Gautama, Shakyamuni aka The Buddha, as his wrestling name, said someting along those lines many years ago.

No free mixing of the sexes is permitted on these forums or via PM or the various chat groups that are operating.

Its more of an argument against humans being unable to escape from competition and hence perpetuating suffering.
