Well, it's been just over three years now since it finally hit me that the whole thing is just a concoction of a man with apparent psychological issues. It was a long journey to arrive at that day, but an eventful one.

I was born to Pakistani parents. They were relatively moderate, but like all Pakistanis quite emotional in their belief."Jews are evil, America is the shaytan, and the kuffar are dirty," type thing. We had separate plates for white neighbours who would come to visit. Nobody in the house would eat from those bowls as they were considered dirty. This became very emotionally entrenched. "Them and us is" a big part of the Islamic hate narrative.

Being married with kids, life is strange and frustrating. The gradual change is noticeable amongst my family but the consequences of coming out of the closet entirely is not an option for me.

I haven't told anyone yet about my murtadd status so thought I'd share it here with fellow infidels.

I am reminded of my non muslim sister, my ex had a special cup set aside for her whenever she paid a visit, placed in a barren cupboard incase it contaminated any other cups lol

We kept ours under the sink. To make matters worse, the neighbour loved our curry so much, she would actually lick the plate, thus reinforcing our belief that disbelievers were dirty.

I am not sure what I am now though a murtad is what it is but I live like a Munafiq. Strange world cause I seems like some Muslim are not buying the idea of being a good neighbours American and foreigners included. So are they Muslim? I have long reliase that there is no such thing as q "true Muslim". Go ask another Muslim in my area or someone else about the actions, they will not be seen as Muslim.

Anyway I hope you and your kids remain safe. Do you teach your children islam and have them practice it. It is hard for children to hold a "front" to please people in a society.
