  • Moving to London
     OP - January 03, 2016, 11:27 AM

    Dear friends
As I wrote before, I had made up my mind to try to change my life.
I plan to travel to London as possible as I can.
Please can any one here recommend any suitable affordable accommodation at London?
I tried GUMTREE but they need viewing, deposit..... etc.
At the beginning, I think I will need a shared short let until everything is clear.
Pls if you can help, I'll be thankful to your efforts as usual.

    Try airbnb.com

Keep in mind that London is a very expensive city, so "affordable" is relative.

Unless you're rich London is too expensive, try somewhere like Bedfordshire which is about 20 mins from London..

I live about as far from London as is possible, and still be in the UK. However...

Speak to people advertising rooms and negotiate. Be aware of scams, it's easy to take your upfront cash and disappear.
