What about the hadith of Muhammad stating that honey is the best of medicines?  I recently saw a science video where they did extoll the virtues of honey being a really superb medicine...doesn't this also validate Muhammad's claim?

Hi Mothra, welcome to the forum.

I think the use/properties of honey and other herbal and home remedies predate Islam by centuries.   Most folk medicine, besides Traditional Chinese and Ayurveda as well as the greeks were using these remedies long before they were attributed to Mo !
