ps in case you don't know Alan Partridge:

Yes, I’ve heard of Alan Partridge aka Steve Coogan back in 2012 when I was in the process of consuming everything by the satirist Chris Morris. So, in the interest of historical verisimilitude, I think I got to know Coogan in that earlier process, I suppose. And it is through The Trip (2010 TV series) that Steve Coogan introduced me to the melodious voice of Alanis Morissette signing her rather stalkish and privacy-violating song “Your House”. Anyway, listen, I wonder what’s your critical take on Four Lions (2010), directed by Chris Morris? D’you think it goes far enough in critiquing Islam without ethnologising British Pakistanis?

I loved Four Lions. I think it hit the right note without coming across as polemical. And yes I love Chris Morris. He's making a new film btw

How would you consider yourself now? I know it just a label, but would you say you are still an agnostic Muslim, or just agnostic, or culture Muslim?

I'm just Agnostic but of course I am the sum of my experiences and influences which includes Islam. Not sure how to put that in a snappy label. So I'm just Hassan.
