     OP - March 30, 2022, 06:52 PM

Congratulations to the Islamic nation on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan

Allah has prescribed fasting for all the previous communities even if it was different in the way and the time of accomplishing it. Allah  says:

)يا أيها الذين آمنوا كتب عليكم الصيام كما كتب على الذين من قبلكم لعلكم تتقون( [البقرة: 183]

    (183) O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous -

    Meaning of the verse:

﴾O believers! You have been prescribed As-Siyam [fasting] as It was prescribed for those who preceded you, so you will attain piety ﴿ [s. Al-Baqara (the Cow): c. 183]

From the second year of the Hegira, Allah عزّ وجلّ definitively prescribed the fasting of the month of Ramadan to humanity. It is an obligation for the adult Muslim. He must do it if he is a resident and not sick. In case he is ill, he is allowed to perform it later. This also applies to women who have given birth or are menstruating. Not sick and traveling, the adult Muslim has the choice of doing it during this month or postponing it to a later period. Allah  has prescribed the fasting of the month of Ramadan from its beginning to its end. Its beginning is clearly fixed by the ocular vision of the lunar crescent of the month of Ramadân, or to complete the month of Sha‘bân (thirty days).

Allah has also determined the beginning of the day of fasting and its end by clearly specified limits,

Fasting during Ramadan means abstinence from all food or drink, including water and chewing gum, from dawn to sunset

    1. Jesus purified himself with washing prior to prayer, as was the practice of the pious prophets who preceded him (see Exodus 40:31-32 in reference to Moses and Aaron), and as is the practice of Muslims.

    2. Jesus prayed in prostration (Matthew 26:39), like the other prophets (see Nehemiah 8:6 with regard to Ezra and the people, Joshua 5:14 for Joshua, Genesis 17:3 and 24:52 for Abraham, Exodus 34:8 and Numbers 20:6 for Moses and Aaron). Who prays like that, Christians or Muslims?

    3. Jesus fasted for more than a month at a time (Matthew 4:2 and Luke 4:2), as did the pious before him (Exodus 34:28, I Kings 19:, and as do Muslims in the annual fast of the month of Ramadan.

    4.

    1. Jesus taught the oneness of God (Mark 12:29-30, Matthew 22:37 and Luke 10:27), as conveyed in the first commandment (Exodus 20:3). Nowhere did he declare the Trinity.

    2. Jesus declared himself a man and a prophet of God  and nowhere claimed divinity or divine sonship.

things do not have any effect on the fast

Eye drops, ear drops, ear syringing, nose drops and nasal sprays – so long as one avoids swallowing any material that may reach the throat.

ii. Tablets or lozenges that are placed beneath the tongue for the treatment of angina pectoris etc., so long as one avoids swallowing any material that reaches the throat.

Staying hungry and thirsty for an entire day is a powerful reminder of the millions of people around the world who experience this. Ramadan emphasizes the values of empathy and generosity. It is a time to think of those who are less fortunate than us and who do not have food and clean water all year round, to understand the suffering and pain of the poor and needy.

Allah tells us "(Cool And they give food in spite of love for it[1813] to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,:" (Al-Insâne, quran 76/8)

It is therefore our duty to feed the fasters in the world, to take care of the sick, to provide for the needs of orphans and families affected by conflicts. Ramadan gives us a greater sense of responsibility towards others.

    Ramadan, a test for some

Ramadan is a joyful time for most of us, but sadly not for everyone. Entire families under the yoke of hunger, thirst and disease are waiting for an outstretched hand that would allow them to take full advantage of this sacred month.

The Islamic religion is easy and not difficult
Muslims living in places where the sun never rises for MONTHS.

the prophet informs us that we should not follow the movement of the sun, but calculate the time as for normal regions

they can fast for Ramadan by following the sunrise and sunset times in Mecca.
The same applies to prayer times.

Some scholars say that in this case one should follow the timetables of Mecca or Medina, land of Revelation, while others suggest following the nearest "normal" region.

This applies to all obligations: the fulfillment of prayers, the payment of zakat and ramadan etc.

for the direction of the qibla, it is enough to have a compass ... not too complicated

I am diabetic. Is it permissible to get an Insulin injection during fasting if it is absolutely necessary, Thank you.
    Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

Being injected with a nutritious product (food or drink) invalidates Fasting. If the injection is for treatment, it is more likely that it does not nullify fasting as it does not go against the wisdom behind fasting and the characteristics of things that annul fasting do not apply to it.

So, insulin injection does not nullify fasting even if injected without any apparent necessity.

It is permissible to receive medical treatment in the form of an injection into a muscle or vein, for one who is fasting during the day in Ramadan, but it is not permissible for the fasting person to be given a nutritional injection during the day in Ramadan, because that comes under the same ruling as eating and drinking, and using such injections is regarded as a trick or loophole. If it is possible to give the injection into the muscle or vein at night, that is preferable

    The Holy Quran says:

        أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُوْلَئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ * لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ * يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ‏

Do not these think that they shall be raised again, for a mighty day, the day on which men shall stand
before the Lord of the worlds? (83:4-6)

Allah, there is no god but He – He will most certainly gather you together on the resurrection day, there is no doubt in it; and who is more true in word than Allah? (4:87)

Resurrection and life after death is a deep rooted belief as all divine prophets have informed about them. And most people throughout the ages, even in the pre-historic age, had believed in it. Although there are also some who have no faith in it. But they don’t have any evidence to negate it; on the contrary they show its occurrence to be a doubtful matter.

    The Quran says:

And says man: What! when I am dead shall I truly be brought forth alive? Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? (19:66-67)

In reply to them and to negate its improbability, the Quran mentions the initial stage of the creation of man and says: We created man  and  gave life to him. To enliven him a second time is obviously easier than the first creation and I have the power to do this.

    The Holy Quran says:
O people! if you are in doubt about the raising, then surely We created you from dust, then from a small seed, then from a clot, then from a lump of flesh, complete in make and incomplete, that We may make clear to you; and We cause what We please to stay in the wombs till an appointed time, then We bring you forth as babies, then that you may attain your maturity; and of you is he who is caused to die, and of you is he who is brought back to the worst part of life, so that after having knowledge he does not know anything; and you see the earth sterile land, but when We send down on it the water, it stirs and swells and brings forth of every kind a beautiful herbage. This is because Allah is the Truth and because He gives life to the dead and because He has power over all things. And because the hour is coming, there is no doubt about it; and because Allah shall raise up those who are in the graves. (22:5-7)

The Holy Quran considers resurrection to be bodily and spiritual;,  followers of all heavenly religions have the same belief. That man would be raised on Judgment Day  he would present himself before the Lord of the world.

There is no god but Allah (La ilaha ila Allah) is the word of fidelity and oneness. It is the first word that all messengers called. And the first word the prophet (saw) asked his people to say. The meaning of “laa ilaahah illa allah” is that nothing worshipped is worthy of worship except Allah.

It is simultaneously a denial and affirmation. There is no god“laa ilaahah” is denial of all worship other than that of Allah.

But Allah “illa allaah” is affirmation that all worship is for Allah alone without partners. As Allah said in Quran:

“That is because Allah - He is the Reality; and those besides Him whom they invoke,- they are but vain Falsehood: verily Allah is He, Most High, Most Great. ( hajj 62). It is one of the pillar of Islam. “

Islam is not just another religion. It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham. Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God. It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone. It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine. The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as:

“Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.” (Quran 112:1-4)[4]

there were no manuscripts of the Bible in the first hundred years after Christ
After the second century, scraps of very simple manuscripts were found
Therefore, we find the Bible without real manuscripts, but they are fake

Why such variance in viewpoints?  To begin with, different theological camps disagree on which books should be included in the Bible.  One camp’s apocrypha is another’s scripture.  Secondly, even among those books that have been canonized, the many variant source texts lack uniformity.  This lack of uniformity is so ubiquitous that The Interpreter’s Dictionary of the Bible states, “It is safe to say that there is not one sentence in the NT in which the MS [manuscript] tradition is wholly uniform.”[2]

Not one sentence?  We can’t trust a single sentence of the Bible?  Hard to believe.
    Maybe

The fact is that there are over 5700 Greek manuscripts of all or part of the New Testament.[3]  Furthermore, “no two of these manuscripts are exactly alike in all their particulars….  And some of these differences are significant.”[4]  Factor in roughly ten thousand manuscripts of the Latin Vulgate, add the many other ancient variants (i.e., Syriac, Coptic, Armenian, Georgian, Ethiopic, Nubian, Gothic, Slavonic), and what do we have?
    A lot of manuscripts

A lot of manuscripts that fail to correspond in places and not infrequently contradict one another.  Scholars estimate the number of manuscript variants in the hundreds of thousands, some estimating as high as 400,000.[5]  In Bart D.  Ehrman’s now famous words, “Possibly it is easiest to put the matter in comparative terms: there are more differences in our manuscripts than there are words in the New Testament.”[6]
    How did this happen?

Poor record keeping.  Dishonesty.  Incompetence.  Doctrinal prejudice.  Take your pick.

None of the original manuscripts have survived from the early Christian period.[7]/[8]  The most ancient complete manuscripts (Vatican MS. No. 1209 and the Sinaitic Syriac Codex) date from the fourth century, three hundred years after Jesus’ ministry.  But the originals?  Lost.  And the copies of the originals?  Also lost.  Our most ancient manuscripts, in other words, are copies of the copies of the copies of nobody-knows-just-how-many copies of the originals.
    No wonder they differ

these books are distorted and the Qur’an corrects their distortion

akay  throws Bert cut and  piece of you tube in support of  his Islam..
there were no manuscripts of the Bible in the first hundred years after Christ

    The Quran has been memorized
Because God saved the Quran from changing
    The predicate is connected
And the writers of the Koran are known generation after generationThe Holy Qur’an was written directly
    and hadith

From the mouth of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him
    so
The Quran was written by the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him

And the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was aliveThere were also known eyewitnesses
    So
The original message is fully preserved until nowOn the contrary
The Bible was not recorded directly
    But
After 300 years after the Prophet Jesus, peace be upon him

    Bible verses are written down

    Without trustworthy witnesses

Because they were not present at the time of Jesus, peace be upon himEven the Old Testament was written down
One thousand years after the death of the Prophet moses peace be upon him

Of course, the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, does not speak except by inspiration from God
    God says in the Qur’an
Nor does he speak from [his own] inclination.
It is not but a revelation revealed,

Secondly, the Qur’an is something that no human being can write, modify or add to it

So far, no one has been able to produce anything close to the Qur'an in its beauty, style, meaning and prophecies.

The scientific evidence in the Qur’an makes it the most talked about book in the world of thought today.

The strongest evidence that the Quran is not (and will not be) distorted is that Allaah The Exalted challenged His creation to produce the likes of it; then He challenged them to produce ten chapters only and finally challenged them to produce even a single chapter. Today, this challenge remains open. If the Quran is fabricated, why can they not even produce a single chapter and defeat their enemy?

1,500-year-old Quran manuscript may be oldest known copy

Recently radiocarbon dated copy of the 7th century Quran at the University of Birmingham.A 1,500-year-old parchment may be one of the oldest known copies of the Qur'an, possibly dating back to a time that straddled the life of the Prophet Muhammad, according to researchers who recently dated the fragments of the manuscript.

The text was radiocarbon dated, which measured the age of organic materials from the find. Researchers at the University of Birmingham, UK, found that the sheets of parchment dated back to AD 568 and AD 645.
Susan Worrall, director of special collections at the University of Birmingham, said in a statement.
"Radiocarbon dating has delivered an exciting result, which contributes significantly to our understanding of the first written copies of the Quran",

The Prophet Muhammad is said to have lived between AD 570 and 632 and, according to Muslim tradition, he received the revelations that make up the Quran between AD 610 and 632.These sheets date back to the end of the 6th or the beginning of the 7th century. They were discovered in the library of the University of Birmingham where they had been kept for almost 100 years without anyone suspecting their age.
