  • The German towns in Paraguay with a surge in European immigrants

A BBC investigation has discovered that thousands of German nationals have migrated to Paraguay in the last 12 months - to escape Covid restrictions and vaccinations in Europe.

But the pandemic is not the only thing driving this new wave of immigration.

As BBC Mundo's Mar Pichel has been finding out, many of the new arrivals say they have become immigrants in Paraguay - because they are uncomfortable with Muslim immigrants at home.

problem is, muslims will eventually colonise south america too.

so no point running away. stay where you are and don’t be shy when complaining about immigrants who refuse to integrate.

the real racists win when ordinary people feel they can’t criticise idiotic migration/asylum policies.

I think it's always been a bit more than just lack of integration. If Muslim fundamentalists kept themselves to themselves, that would be appreciated. But the dawah stalls in Western European cities aren't shutting up shop anytime soon.

It's become more and more tiring of me to listen to folk who say  ''well we can't say what we think in our own country anymore!''. The type who sit around dinner tables amongst family and friends with a raised eyebrow or a gesture, feeling sorry for themselves. Not withstanding individual bad policy decisions from government, I'd hazard a guess that it's the capitulation of the great 'liberal' public that allowed theocratic Islam to bare it's teeth without fear in these societies. Rather than blaming secular degeneracy on the insipidness of their society, they should look closer to home to their own Christian values they bemoan that are in 'decline'. Love thy neighbour, turn the other cheek, love your enemies. Every bit as wicked as anything that came out of Islam. Values that hold great weight than ever before despite church attendences at an all time low.

the specific problem isn't fundamentalists, it's the western political classes that facilitate them.

The political class share the same shitty watered down Christian values as the great British public. Tolerant, meek and mild Christian ethics vs unashamed Islamic fundamentalism. It's been beautiful to witness.

watered down pseudo religious values is what makes life tolerable.
