     OP - May 01, 2022, 11:01 AM

    When is Eid al-Fitr?

Eid al-Fitr is held immediately after Ramadan,

Celebrations can last up to three days,

Muslims begin Eid day celebrations by partaking in the prayer service that takes place shortly after dawn, followed by a short sermon.

On their way to the prayer, which is traditionally held in an open area, Muslims recite takbeerat, praising God by saying “Allahu Akbar”, meaning “God is great”.

It is customary to eat something sweet prior to the prayer such as date-filled biscuits known as maamoul.

Eid al-Fitr is one of two major festivals celebrated by Muslims each year, the other being Eid al-Adha, which falls later in the summer and honours Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son to Allah.

It is seen as a spiritual celebration of Allah’s gift of strength and endurance. It is also a time for charity, known as Zakat al-Fitr, when people are expected to give and show kindness.

Fasting is forbidden on the day of Eid, in contrast to the 30 days that came before.

People congratulate one another as they head home after Eid prayers. They spend the day visiting relatives and neighbours, and accepting sweets as they move around from house to house.

Each country has traditional desserts and sweets that are prepared before Eid or on the morning of the first day. These foods range from special biscuits and bread to cakes and puddings.

Children, dressed in new clothes, are offered gifts and money to celebrate the joyous occasion.

In some countries, families visit graveyards to offer their respects to departed family members.

It is common for the capitals of Muslim-majority countries to decorate their cities with lights and hold festivities to commemorate the end of Ramadan.

except those word in the quotes rest is garbage dear akay., So let me add some fact to those words...

It is well known that Ramadan was a non-Muslim pagan Arab festival and funny thing proof of that is in that hadith from 'that Persian guy Muḥammad ibn Ismā‘īl al-Bukhārī (Persian 810 – 870)  so read this ahdith

    Quote
Bukhari 5:58:172 Narrated Aisha: ‘Ashura was a day on which the tribe of Quraish used to fast in the pre-lslamic period of ignorance. The Prophet also used to fast on this day. So when he migrated to Medina, he fasted on it and ordered (the Muslims) to fast on it. When the fasting of Ramadan was enjoined, it became optional for the people to fast or not to fast on the day of Ashura.

      and read this

    Quote
Hadith Bukhari. Volume 2, Book 26, Number 710, narrated Asim: ‘I asked Anas bin Malik: “Did you dislike to perform Tawaf between mountain Al-Safa and mountain Al-Marwa?” He said, “Yes, as it was of the ceremonies of the days of the Pre-lslamic period of ignorance, till Allah revealed: “
    Quote
Verily! Al-Safa and Al-Marwa are among the rites (or symbols) of Allah. It is therefore no sin for him who performs the pilgrimage to the Ka’ba, or performs ‘Umrah, to perform Tawaf between them.”’ (Quran 2.158)

the present fools in Islam do not read anything and do not use their  brain ., but they listen to IDIOTS IN ISLAM who acts as Islamic preachers

    Don't speak ignorantly

The tenth day of Muharram “the day of Ashura” is the memory of Moses, peace be upon him, and his people surviving from drowning, and the drowning of Pharaoh and his army,

so Moses fasted  the day of Ashura and thanks his God for his grace and favor  ,
the People of the Book, and the Quraysh used to fast during their ignorance,

and the Prophet mohmmed fasted  the day of Ashura

    \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Tawaf between mountain Al-Safa and mountain Al-Marwa

Muslims walk between the two mountains (called Sa'ee), which they believe was made a ritual as a tribute to Hajar's search for water in the area when she ran out of provisions after Ibrahim left her in the valley upon Allah's command. The space between the two mountains in which the pilgrims walk is called al-Mas'aa

These rituals are done because God wants us to conduct the pilgrimage in this way. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) offered the pilgrimage, he said to his companions: “Learn your rituals from me.”

    \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Fasting differs from one nation to another, so fasting during the month of Ramadan is for the nation of Muhammad, peace be upon him only, excluding all other prophets

THE Holy Qur’an — which falsehood cannot approach from either in front or behind, which leads people from the darkness to the light, to the path of our Almighty and Omniscient, and much-praised Lord, a blessing, glad tidings and a mercy for all Muslims, an advice and a reminder for those who fear with a trembling heart — was sent down in the month of Ramadan. Allah speaks of this holy month when He revealed the verses to our Prophet (peace be upon him), in the Qur’an: “The month of Ramadan is the one in which the Qur’an was sent down as guidance for mankind, with clear signs containing guidance and discrimination. Any of you who are resident for the month should fast it. But any of you who are ill or on a journey should fast a number of other days. Allah desires ease for you; He does not desire difficulty for you. You should complete the number of days and proclaim Allah’s greatness for the guidance He has given you so that hopefully you will be thankful.” (Surat Al-Baqara, 185)

The month of Ramadan is a fertile month that also contains the Night of Power, “...better than a thousand months” (Surat Al-Qadr, 3). This month has a unique importance, sanctity and beauty in the eyes of Muslims. Throughout this month, all the Muslims of the world obey their obligation to fast “as a single body,” maintain the bounds set by Allah in verses, are aware of their weakness and give thanks to our Lord for His blessings, pray with great sincerity and strive to discipline their lower selves. In a Hadith our Prophet (peace be upon him) says this to believers regarding the month of Ramadan: “How happy are those who spend this month fasting, worshipping and in doing good deeds!”
It is believers’ “purity, sincerity and taqwa” that make fasting acceptable in the Sight of Allah: Believers welcome the month of Ramadan with joy. This is the joy of faith that comes from discharging an obligation they hope will be pleasing to Allah.

Np..no......  nooooooooo  ... you are WRONG dear akay.,  Nothing wrong if a person is ignorant ., in Fact it is the stepping stone to learn  new things that the person did not know ..

Now it is different if the person knowingly acting ignorant and cheating folks taking advantage of ignorant folks in the society

Moses: The Old Testament’s Greatest Prophet

According to the Bible, Moses was the prophet who led Israel out of slavery in Egypt and brought them to the edge of the promised land. The Old Testament mentions him 767 times, making him one of the most prominent people in the Old Testament. (Only David is mentioned more.) While Abraham is Israel’s ancestor, Moses is often considered its founder, for his role in establishing Israel as a nation.

In this article, we’re going to give an overview of who Moses was, what he did, and some of the big questions surrounding his life. Here’s what we’re covering:

Moses is a central figure in Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. Together, these four books cover Moses’ life from birth to death, allowing us to see him in a wide range of roles. Each of these roles tell us a little more about this dynamic Old Testament character.
Moses was a member of Egyptian royalty

Moses wasn’t born into a royal family—but shortly after his birth, he was adopted by Pharaoh’s daughter, and he was raised as a member of Pharaoh’s household (Exodus 2:10). This position of honor likely came with a royal education. In the Book of Acts, Stephen, the first Christian martyr, asserted that “Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in speech and action” (Acts 7:22).
    Moses was a fugitive

As a member of Pharaoh’s household, Moses lived a life of privilege. But he was still a Hebrew. And when he was about 40, Moses saw an Egyptian beating one of his fellow Hebrews, and he killed the Egyptian.

Being brought up in Pharaoh’s household didn’t give Moses immunity for murder, and Pharaoh tried to have him killed for what he’d done.

So Moses fled to a place called Midian (Exodus 2:15), where he settled down, married a woman named Zipporah, and had a son named Gershom (Exodus 2:21–22). Exodus simply calls this “a long period” (Exodus 2:23). During that time, Pharaoh died, and Moses’ crime was forgotten or dismissed (Exodus 4:19).
Moses was a prophet … the greatest in the Old Testament

God appointed Moses to speak for him, first to Pharaoh and then to the Israelites. He spoke with God’s authority, and he taught the Israelites what God desired, most notably by delivering them the famous Ten Commandments and allegedly writing the Pentateuch.

Of all the prophets, Moses was the only one who regularly met with God .The Pentateuch closes by remarking on how no other prophet in the Old Testament came close to Moses’ legacy:

“Since then, no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew , who did all those signs and wonders the Lord sent him to do in Egypt—to Pharaoh and to all his officials and to his whole land. For no one has ever shown the mighty power or performed the awesome deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.” —Deuteronomy 34:10–12

    Moses was a mediator

One of Moses’ key roles was as a mediator between God and Israel. God had a special relationship with Moses, and God frequently spoke to him directly. The Israelites were also afraid of God—so afraid that they didn’t want to speak to God directly. So they asked Moses to speak to God instead:

“When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance and said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die.”

Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.”

The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was.” —Exodus 20:18–21

Moses often wound up serving as a negotiator between God and his people, bringing the Israelites’ desires to God, and bringing God’s desires to the Israelites. At times, Moses even stayed God’s anger, convincing him to forgive the Israelites and hold back his punishment for their disobedience (Numbers 11:2, Numbers 14:19–20, Exodus 32:14).
    Moses was a judge

    Moses was a judge

As a prophet, Moses was God’s representative to the people of Israel. So whenever they had disputes, they turned to Moses to learn the will of God, and he sat as judge over every case. When Moses’ father-in-law Jethro visited from Midian, he immediately saw that Moses was taking on too much responsibility—it wasn’t sustainable—and proposed a new solution:

“He chose capable men from all Israel and made them leaders of the people, officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. They served as judges for the people at all times. The difficult cases they brought to Moses, but the simple ones they decided themselves.” —Exodus 18:25–26

Moses’ direct connection to God made him invaluable as a judge, but because he knew God’s will so well, he was able to teach others to serve the Israelites in this capacity.

    I just forgot this only

    Secondly

Musa was mentioned 136 times in 34 suras in the Quran

    Moses got the prophecy

, Moses and his family . On their journey, Moses meets Allah and blesses him with prophethood, and grants him two miracles to show Pharoah and his followers that Allah is the one and only god.

“When he came to it (the fire), he was called from the right side of the valley in the blessed spot at the tree: ‘O Moses! I am Allah, the Lord of all peoples.’ And [that]: ‘Throw down your staff.’ When he saw it moving like a snake he fled without tracing his steps. ‘O Moses! Draw near and do not fear for you are one of the secure ones. Enter your hand to your bosom and it will come forth white without harm; and do not show fear. These shall be two proofs from your Lord to Pharaoh and his chiefs; they are a rebellious people.’”

What nonsense is that .. COUNTING WORDS is the way to understand Quran?? RUBBISH

well akay you  forgetting seems to be doing better job on people making understand Islam as faith or as Islamic rules for faith followers and others
All that you wrote down is gibberish except Quran verses from that surah Al-Qasas

    Quote

    Moses got the prophecy

, Moses and his family . On their journey, Moses meets Allah and blesses him with prophethood, and grants him two miracles to show Pharoah and his followers that Allah is the one and only god.

    Quote
“When he came to it (the fire), he was called from the right side of the valley in the blessed spot at the tree: ‘O Moses! I am Allah, the Lord of all peoples.’

And [that]: ‘Throw down your staff.’ When he saw it moving like a snake he fled without tracing his steps. ‘O Moses! Draw near and do not fear for you are one of the secure ones.

Enter your hand to your bosom and it will come forth white without harm; and do not show fear. These shall be two proofs from your Lord to Pharaoh and his chiefs; they are a rebellious people.’”
        (Quran 28:30-32)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hM_YA6CWbFU

Shabir Ally talks nonsense all the time ., his time and Zakir Joker time  is over .. we need young minds to think about Quran.. So let me repeat those Quran 28:30-32 verses you attached to your post as you have picked up a translation

    Quote
028.030   : And when he came to it(fire),, a voice was uttered from the right side of the valley in the blessed spot of the bush, saying: O Musa! surely I am Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

    028.031  : And saying: Cast down you staff. So when he saw it in motion as if it were a serpent, he turned back retreating, and did not return. O Musa! come forward and fear not; surely you are of those who are secure;

028.032  : Enter your hand into the opening of your bosom, it will come forth white without evil, and draw your hand to yourself to ward off fear: so these two shall be two arguments from your Lord to Firon and his chiefs, surely they are a transgressing people.

And my friend  THAT IS WRONG WAY OF READING QURAN STORIES ., right way is reading whole chapter.,   here go and read all of surah_28  at https://www.councilofexmuslims.com/index.php?topic=16106.msg861843#msg861843

Incidentally Surah 28 of the book is actually Surah 48 in the so-called  REVELATION   ORDER   And please realize the reason the Quran writers put out many such OT/NT stories  is not to provide insight into the old stories,  neither it i gives any real information of prophets  whose names we read in Quran.

But those stories in Quran justify the actions of so-called four rightly guided caliphs for  unifying people of Arabian peninsula of that time and gives mythical basis for  emerging Arab empire. The Quran OT/NT stories appeal  to people of that time who were already heard/familiar with those mythical figures and their stories of OT/NT  from the local preachers of that time .

That is what it is., Quran reading is  NOT FOR COUNTING NUMBERS  SUCH AS .......HOW MANY TIMES a name of a OT/NT prophet is  mentioned in it...

Do not let silence become your legacy.. Question everything
I renounced my faith to become a kafir,
the beloved betrayed me and turned in to  a Muslim

It is naive to say that Islam is a combination of Jewish and Christian information

No one can change a letter of the Qur’an because God promised to preserve the Qur’an

The Holy Qur’an was written directly

From the mouth of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him
    so
The Quran was written by the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him

And the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was alive

    There were also known eyewitnesses

    So
The original message is fully preserved until now

The Torah and the Bible were devastating
In terms of doctrine and scientific errors

So   why   the Prophet Muhammad did not quote  scientific errors from the Bible too!

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was illiterate
He does not know how to read and does not know how to write
Therefore, he did not quote anything from any civilization

The Jews tried to kill the Prophet Muhammad, the Prophet Jesus and other prophets, peace be upon them, just to spread the religion of God, which acknowledges the oneness of God
The Jews did not tolerate any prophet who violated their corrupt law

the Prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him,
He did not agree with the Jews and the Christians in their beliefs and actions that are contrary to the law of God

    the Bible
It was later translated into many languages, but it was only a thousand years after the advent of the Prophet that it was adapted into Arabic. So even supposing that he knew how to read and write his native language, we could not validly demand of him that he be bilingual or polyglot, that he handle Hebrew, Greek, Latin, Syriac, the Coptic or the Gothic and let him hide it with such great dexterity from the eyes of the whole world.

The Qur’an contains the events of the past, present and future
The only possible answer is that God is inspired.to the Prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him

Jesus did not write the bible that was revealed by God. Not even was it written immediately after his departure. He did not order or desire at any time in his life to write anything on his behalf. Therefore, the Bible which is in circulation today is not a representation of Jesus' teachings.

Out of the total of 27 Books of the New Testament, more than half is authored by Paul. As opposed to Paul, the Master has not written a single word of the twenty-seven books. If you can lay your hands on what is called "'A Red Letter Bible," you will find every word alleged to have been uttered by Jesus - in red ink and the rest in normal black ink. Don't be shocked to find that in this so called Gospel of Jesus, over ninety percent of the 27 Books of the New Testament is printed in black ink!

After the 30 days of Ramadan comes Eid al-Fitr.

This great three-day feast is an opportunity for Muslims to come together to end their fasting period with a feast.

Traditionally this means eating, drinking and exchanging gifts with friends and family.

    Eid Mubarak everyone!

What a Ramadan this year! Always strive for kindness, compassion, justice, righteousness and Taqwa. Ramadan is over but now we have 11 months of keeping strong in these things. Ramadan is a reminder of both the beauty and supernaturally profound nature of the Holy Qur'an, and a concentrated training ground for what we seek to cultivate year round. Fasting is about so much more than simply not having food
