It's funny that you come back here after weeks and post a new article, opening a new chapter before closing the previous chapter by answering the questions addressed to you. Just reinforces what a weak argument you actually have.

Well I come here to teach you.
I can not do so when you are acting like naughty, stubborn little children.
It was obvious the one topic all atheists believe they all figured out was the only topic u wished discuss even though evidence is yet not conclusive.
So since it was obvious u young uns wished to keep beating a horses shadow, and were afraid of being challenged to any other matters where physical evidence and conclusions are already available and abundant.
As the wiser one, I had to withdraw respectfully. It's not about just creating friction and long threads for entertainment and scores or money or somn, it's about discussing discussable issues intellectually. I do have a day job.

Thanks and peace and love to you all. I miss u....especially bezzlebub or what's her name.

Haha. Very funny. Well kid, you can act as patronizing as you'd like, but your arguments are still moronic.

Considering your condescending tone, it's a wonder no one has told you to take your "teachings", and shove them where the sun doesn't shine.

And who are you calling young? You are probably some pimply faced little boy who can't shave yet, with delusions of his own importance. You talk a lot of trash where you can be anonymous, but I doubt you have the testicles to actually show your face.

You make me laugh. Someone who is wise would have understood that your ideas will get little, if any, support here.

You would do better to go elsewhere, possibly a forum where the majority are trusting, and have an I.Q. lower than the average houseplant.

    Oh really. It hurts? Cheesy

How about u read the tone used by the bored people on this forum.  bunny

Did you ever find that Islamic timeline?
  • Re: Religion got it right before science
     Reply #247 - November 19, 2008, 02:47 PM

Speaking of which...is there an (official) Islamic time-line that plots their mythology and their rehashed bible stories along actual historical events?

When is their Noah supposed to have lived? Or their Abraham? The Quran is lacking a lot of the details that the OT contains.

Everytime "science" (which is falsely called so), "discovers" something new, evolutionists have to go back and change some parts of one of their theories. Amazingly enough, no scientific discovery has ever caused Biblical creationists to have to change their stand.

The only thing and topic anti-realists/anti-truthists ever think they are capable of talking on and disproving is obviously the flood.

It's obvious from my first experience here, the reaction to the other topic thread I opened, and even now to my new topic post. And I have not noticed this rather embarrassing fact just here but in many similar sorry fora through my internet years.

Noahs story is not the reason for faith. Religionists can well do with saying it is myth for argument sake. It is NOT a foundation of faith. But unfortunately it defines the beginning and end of your argument-ability. More sad is the fact that, that there was such a flood can NEVER be disproved by science since science only postulates and does not ever prove.

Peace to you all. I do understand. It certainly is not easy to oppose reality. The hand you use to type worships God. It definitely aint easy being u.

Errrr you couldn't prove the flood, you are the one who is arguing that it happened so it's your responsibility to prove it.

What else do I think determines faith? Err the faith in god? Yeh, prove him to me and then I'll believe ya. It's not upto the Atheists to prove the non-existence of god, it's upto religious folk to prove his existence.

The foundation of faith may not be Noah's flood, but that is an aspect mentioned in the Quran and other religious books. Hence if you cannot prove that, and say 'for argument's sake' it is a myth, then we have every right to doubt the credibility of everything else in the Quran or other religious books. Common sense should tell you what is real and what isn't. In your life, have you ever experienced any personal experience with 'God' that can't be explained by anything else?

You say that Science doesn't prove, well it proves a whole darn lot more than religion. I hope, for the sake of many people, that you aren't really a doctor. You say you are against science yet being a doctor, you have to use science to heal people, not the magic of god  Roll Eyes Unless you are a witch doctor, which is a totally different story.

You say that we can't argue our point, yet you are the one who hasn't answered any of the previous questions brought to you in this thread.

I bet the poor deluded child has been so pumped full of stories of science in the Koran and talk of Muslim superiority that he has childish wet dreams about turning The White House into the Black House and sharia governing the whole of humanity.

If you read his site he seems to have the strange idea that Islam and Muslims invented and discovered everything useful ever and that the evil people have rewritten history to steal the credit.

    Why?

I have no need to buy a book to understand that they are human. Just like anyone else on this forum (okay, maybe not you, I have doubts about whether you are human). Nor do I need a book to tell me that some people (I use that term loosely in your case) are different, though they are plagued by the same problems as everyone else. In addition, I feel no need to meddle in their lives, if it works for them and they are happy. Let them be happy.

We don't need some self-deluded nut-job like you, spouting mystical semi-science, telling us to change how we live or think, we can do that on our own. Preferably with the help of more credible sources of wisdom than you are.

I have a task for you. If you say the Quran has mentioned many scientific discoveries way before science, then I want you to list the following science related topics that are mentioned in the Quran, quoting a verse for each:

    Electro-magnetism
    Aeronautics
    Computers
    Cars

I'll list some more once you've found me quotes relating to those Smiley

I think Sam Harris puts it almost as well as you put it when he targets all monotheistic "holy" books.

"Literally billions of us deem the contents of the Bible and the Koran to be so profound as to rule out the possibility of terrestrial authorship. Now given the breadth and depth of human achievement I think this is almost a miracle in it's own right. It seems to me to be a miraculous misappropriation of awe"
