    Gynaecomastia, commonly known as man boobs or 'moobs', is a medical condition that causes tissue in the chest area to develop like a female breast.

    There's usually no clear cause but doctors say sometimes men get it because of hormonal problems in the body - having more of the female hormone oestrogen than normal.

    Men who are very overweight and use drugs like cannabis are also more likely to suffer from it.

    One sufferer told Newsbeat: "Whenever I took my T-shirt off I had a proper set of boobs. They were massive, they were noticeable from every angle. I definitely would have passed for a woman.

    'Hide my chest'

    "I wouldn't have gone swimming - not a chance. Going on a foreign holiday, I wouldn't have taken my top off until I was on my own. I was very self-conscious, very embarrassed.

    "It was always on my mind. I would always have my arms folded or a big jumper on, something just to hide my chest."

    Even though losing weight can help the problem, some men find that     It also affects their confidence and their self esteem and they tend to adjust their social lives and fashion accordingly

    It doesn't make anyone horny for long. Men who smoke, and it doesn't matter what they smoke, have a very high rate of functional impotence from the age of about 40 onwards.
    This is due to the inhalation of carbon monoxide, produced when any hydro-carbons are combusted. CO thickens the blood, causing it to flow slower and also stimulates the production of adrenalin and other 'fight or flight' hormones. This, in turn, shunts blood away from the peripheral blood vessels, including those in the digeridoo, and towards the main muscles. The arterial blood vessels are narrowed and hardened and this, once started , is v v difficult to reverse.
    Other related problems with the same origin are prematurely aged skin and cold hands and feet, and in rare cases, gangerene, requiring amputation and ambliopia or smokers' blindness.

    lol. not everyone smokes and are heavyweight. im slim. i smoke. just i can get not hungry cos i dont feel like eat so ill just smoke again and over again until sleep. somehow drugs make u thin so the less or in right amount of food u eat, ull just get thinner or the same depeneding on what food u eat. yes i dont deny that skunk can make u hungry howeva sometime my depression is too strong for strave/desire.

    stardust, hi there, if u havent done that b4. then please please please for apostates' sake. dont try it. i tried it B4 i joined islam so it was still in me. im not saying its okay for me cos of certain circumstances. sometime i wish im able to do without it cos it make u look shit. i know i posted some here regarding cannabis but im not trying to promote in fact i am telling u all, for teetotallers, never touch illegal drugs. i dont want to be responsibility for anyone cos its bad enuff.

    i know it sound a bit too rich of me that i smoke and im telllin everyone off. buti dont smoke for pleasure.  well not anymore.

    I tried something, didn't affect me though. I think I fulfilled my curiosity on just trying it. I've heard you need to give your brain time to learn how to react to it/to smoke it properly before it has any real affect on you *shrugs* but yeah lol, what I was really saying is I need some relief from the mental tension/stress I feel a lot.

    with best of interests in intention, i wont tell u anything that might help u in smokin or the like but i can tell u that for some first timers included me, got vomited and lost control. and remember that was in my ordinary non muslim days. thats where it doesnt hit you hard cos you never experience and have knowledge of terrible things around the world. i was teenage. at school. after first, i liked it and its different. a bit like in dreamworld but cos i was an teenage and i didnt have any bills to pay.  and now its nightmare. i remember after left islam, that i tried it again. cos i had mental illness like i said in my introduction. it made everything worst. then i came off it. cos i touched it. the side affects bothers me. and then there's temptation that wont go away.

    lol weed is illegal in my country but there is a store called " Hot Box" Cafe where people go just to smoke weed. It's not even hidden it's out in the open like any coffee store.

    It's been there for decades.


    I think they have some sort of unspoken agreement with the Police down here. Apparently as long as you only smoke it in the store the cops won't bug you about it.




    They are supposed to move to a new location becuz of some problems with the landlord though.

    I'll try booze after my birthday this year but I probably still won't try pot or cigarettes.

    I'm not into smoking and don't wanna mess up my body.

    Definitely do not try cigarettes. They are pointless and if you get addicted you are just shaving years off your life.
