well, we don?t have that many catholic schools in my hometown... one for girls, run by nuns. I went to a state-run all-girls?school, though, were we were almost all catholics, anyway. I think it was chosen for it?s proximity to the train station (had to take the train to school every morning) and it?s focus on languages.
Ah right, I went to a community school, my parents didn't really care about how well it did, or what it specialised in, it was just close.
In this area I live in now though, schooling is way different from the slums I grew up in, my children actually have options to private schools with scholarships, it's awesome.
A bit of tutoring, a test and hopefully voila I can get my kids into the best grammar school around here with all the posh people.
