How and when will the palestian-israel conflict end?

For some it seems that Israel is evil for others it seems Hamas is evil...and it is all a bit boring now.........

More people have died in Darfur and the current war in Sri Lanka is worse but the world seems stuck in the middle east....

How and when will the palestinian-israel conflict end?

The question is not how do you want to see it end (I hope for a two state solution)....but how do you think it will really end?

I have my idea...it is not nice hence I will not share it for the moment. It would be nice to see how people see it all ending.....

Honestly, I would love to see it end with both sides sitting down and singing kumbaya together over a few beers, and a couple of spliffs.

Seriously though, I would love to see the two state solution and genuine peace from hamas that isn't a temporary strength gathering exercise, and true peace from Israel that doesn't nick more land in the process.

Ideally one would wish it to end with no more bloodshed, and real movement forward.

There is second by second coverage. People can find video feeds from every angle. Almost everyone who has been died is on film.

The Genocide in Bangladesh in which almost 3 million died there was very little coverage and very little hard evidence exists so the perpetrators have gone unpunished.

As long as someone is broadcasting every shoot and dead person and getting people all over the world angry I don't think this will ever end.

Either the two sides find a way to live together.

OR it will never end. (One side wiping out the other completely is impossible)

I'd like to see a return to the 1967 posn. Israel just has to withdraw it's illegal settlers and agree to a viable Palestinian state.
The Palestinians would have to recognise Israel and agree to abandon hostilities.
Both parties, along with Egypt probably, Jordan and any other Middle-Eastern countries of like mind, to set up a co-trading bloc along the lines of the 'Club of Rome' to ensure that it would be in no one's interest to start another war.
Jerusalem to be set up as a separate state, 'above politics and nations', and governed by a committee of all the religions who regard it as the 'holy of holies'.

I've just read your timely reminder about the Q but I'll leave my post anyway and just add that I don't think it will happen in my lifetime!
