After seeing this video, I want Jesus to be my friend too!

    I love this verse:

Once I tried to run, I tried to run and hide

But Jesus he found me and touched me down inside

He is like a Mountie - he always gets his man

and he'll zap you anyway he can

    Zzzzaap!

Sorry. I will not watch the video. Contemporary Christian Music is alot like secular love songs. If I want to hear a secular love song, I 'll just listen o secular love song.

If I want to hear a true Christian hymn....I will actually need to figure out what is a true Christian hymn, then try to get used to the genre.

I started from the middle of the video and that's the part I started with, I thought this was a satire, then it slowly downed on me that the jokers are actually serious.

"Ask the slave girl; she will tell you the truth.' So the Apostle called Burayra to ask her. Ali got up and gave her a violent beating first, saying, 'Tell the Apostle the truth.'"

I couldn't watch at all. First, they look country....and second, I already knew it would silly and unbiblical lyrics. My church's music is corny enough. I'm a young Christian and have never really heard a true Christian hymn. All our songs are like "Lean on me". They are supposed to attract people like me, but they are at least 20 years behind when it comes to things like that. Tongue

You should write your own Christian song, Shaneequa.

"Befriend them not, Oh murtads, and give them neither parrot nor bunny."  - happymurtad's advice on trolls.

Gosh, the singer is called 'Sonseed'. This is beyond disturbed.

oh my god! Without the lyrics, that would actually be a half decent ska song!

Religion - The hot potato that looked delicious but ended up burning your mouth!

Knock your head on the ground, don't be miserly in your prayers, listen to your Sidi Sheikh, Allahu Akbar! - Lounes Matoub

The best line in this song has to be:

He loves me when I waste my time, writing silly songs

    Oh, the irony!

King David already penned it. It's called Psalm 51.

Er....yeah. Remind me never to attend one of your parties.

This is my favourite band. I am sorely tempted to join in with the lord, I just don't like the bit where he has to touch me 'deep inside'. I love the slightly 'caribbean' accent.

    Ha Ha.

Cheesy I'm reminded of one of the few south park episodes I've seen
