    (Clicky for piccy!)

Salvia divinorum, also known as Diviner’s Sage,[2] ska Mar?a Pastora,[3] or simply by the genus name Salvia, is a psychoactive herb which can induce strong dissociative effects.

So, on another forum they were discussing cannabis and intuition, during that topic someone mentioned Salvia, and a couple of other people seemed to know what the hell he was on about and related their experiences with the stuff.

Me being me, I asked sheikh google what was up with this Salvia, and was highly tempted by a) it's mind altering properties and 2) it's legality.  Cheesy

With this in mind I ordered some regular leaves off the net, apparantly you can get 20x, 40x upwards extract, which has been made much stronger than my regular leaves.

Anyway I'm more comfortable starting low and testing as I go along.

So, it arrived this morning  Cheesy and since I do not own a bong I pulled out the old sheesh pipe and gave it a whilr.

1 - It tastes like shite, OMG my throat was revolted and rebelled.

2 - Even the leaves have power Lmao

A nice fit of giggles followed by my world slowly fading away at the edges.  Was really weird.  It only lasts a short while though, which is why it was ok to try now.

Next step, try the 10x extract onwards.

Apparantly you can see all kinds of mad shit.

Will keep you informed as I go along, especially after I obtain a bong today and hit the rest of it tonight.

I've done salvia, my bf sells so I get it for free grin12 A bit of advice, it's better to start stronger, your resistance to it lowers the more you try so the next time you don't need to do as much to get you hallucinating. Also to get the best effect you have to smoke the right amount, not too much and not too little.

My last salvia trip involved my room turning into a pretty garden Cheesy Then it turned into a Disney Land-esque place where I felt like a little kid Cheesy

You should try salvia while you are watching those funny images windows media player plays during music. They turn 3d!! It's so cool! yes

Maybe not on a physical basis.

But hey, i dont judge people who take herbal stimulants to get halutinations that dont harm anyone.

I judge people who want to brainwash me to believe the hallutinations they get WITHOUT drugs.  grin12

Exactly, it's my fun, my recreation, it would be pointless to waste a judgement on me when there are worser things out there, mass delusions that actually cause harm to others and are not about recreation.

It's a herb. It wont hurt your stomach. Smoke is bad for the lungs and throat though. If you don't want to chew it you could cook with it, like some people may possibly have done with magic mushrooms in their misspent youth.

Isn't that just with consistent smoking? Salvia only requires one or two long swigs of smoke which you hold in. I've only done salvia every other month or so, I doubt this would effect my lungs much (I hope). Otherwise I'll consider chewing.

     Cheesy That sounds like fun.

I didn't like the after-taste of pot in my throat so I didn't do it much...I wonder what this stuff will be like.

My bf has a bong ..so might try it ONCE....just to see what the trip is like...

Damn I just checked and it's illegal in Australia.

I'm sure my boyfriend's mate who deals pot can get hold of it....he's gone out with him at the moment so might ask them when they get back...would be an interesting experience.

Peruvian: Are the hallucinations really that strong?! I know it depends on how much you smoke...etc...how do you smoke it?

I just read that the temperature has to be higher than a normal lighter when you are lighting it, to feel those effects of it..amongst other things.

  • Re: My Salvia diary

Well I just used it with a regular lighter held over the leaves, it was so strange.  I actually lost myself for awhile there, couldn't stop laughing, couldn't understand where I was, or why I was laughing.  Totally nuts feeling.  It felt oddly like I was in a cafe somewhere foreign, but laughing.

If this is what the regular stuff feels the strong stuff must be outta this world.  mysmilie_977

If you don't smoke enough you wont hallucinate much, you'll just everything turning into patterns. Smoke a bit more than that and you get some wild hallucinations! Smoke even more and you'll most likely not remember much.

I've had a few not so good hallucinations where it just went weird. But nothing terrible.

Use a jet lighter rather than a normal lighter, they're quite cheap to buy.

Hmm I dunno, it sounds like a really hard drug...I know they are just leaves....but meh. I think I'll stick to pot if I want to smoke, cos' it's been tried and tested to the most minuscule detail...and this is the first time I've heard of salvia. Wouldn't do opium...so I'll probably let this go too  wacko

Drugs has a silly and hypocritical stigma attached to it. I can understand it for harmful drugs but there are drugs less harmful to the person and others around them than alcohol yet people are still ostracised for it. People automatically thing drugs are all bad. I have no problem as long as people are responsible.

I wasn't totally aware, I even asked my brother where I was because the world turned lopsided, I couldn't stop laughing, tears were streaming out of my eyes.  It was chaos for a short while, maybe too chaotic.  wacko

I live on a different plane of existance, I really shouldn't have been reborn in this shell, it's such a limited human shell.  I should have been born in the shell of an elf, and lived in the westlands where I didn't need stimulants to see such wonders.

But stimulants take me there, where I can play with my friends, and fly with the faries, hopefully next time round I will be reborn in the body I was meant to inhabit, back in the westlands, where magic is real.  Cry

It's alright. I hate smoking it...I hate how it gets to my throat. I could never get used to it. The effects of it were okay...not a fan of it enough to try it over and over again.

I'm undecided about Salvia. The more I read about it, the more intriguing it sounds. I would probably try it once to be honest.

It's over-rated. I gave it up years ago. It's ok for a laugh but people who smoke it all the time get really boring (plus bongs are really rough on your lungs).
