What's your sun sign?

One of my friends' gave me this Linda Goodman book to read, I find it fascinating, Goodman's writing is sooo interesting.

Do you believe in sun signs? I somewhat do, although I think they're irrational. I'm a Scorpio, born on 3rd November 1994, my rising sign is Saggitarius.

What are your sun signs?

Mine's Cancer. I don't believe in them though but I love checking up sign compatibilities anyway. They're always fun to read. I prefer the Chinese zodiac where I'm a dragon

Actually, believe is the wrong word to use regarding what I think about sun signs, I like reading up about sun signs. Its a fun thing to do.

Your sun sign is only a fraction of all the things that involve astrology. You have to consider every single planet's position and their houses and so forth...

Do I believe it? Its a tough question.. horoscopes are absolutely bogus just so you know. But I think if done properly true astrology does have some effect.

Speaking of horoscopes an Indian friend of mine's mother is well practiced at drawing up traditional Indian horoscopes so I had my friend pass my info onto her and the results were somewhat predictable and also pretty interesting.

Appearantly my marriage to my practicing Muslim hubbie a few years ago was a complete fluke! Explains why it didn't last I guess...

I believe our signs influences our personalities at the very least. I didn't believe in them for the longest time, but when I got out from under the thumb of Islam I read a description of being an Aries, and it was so dead on that I was a little scared!

In which book\website did you read a description of Aries? I reading about sunsigns, especially when descriptions of my sunsign matches my personality. I love Linda Goodman's writings, haven't read any others.

Gosh, I wish I had saved it, but it was over a year ago. I had a natal chart done by an online friend, and she attributed the following to me (all are true by the way):

Great at starting things but not finishing them

Being passionate both in and out of bed, but rather self-centered

Having a high sex drive

Being a natural leader

Being demanding, independent, upfront and honest

Being fastidious when I want something

Being enthusiastic

Ruled by my mind/logic

Mine is Libran but I don't take much stock in horoscopes. I'm more into categorising people and their behaviour by using MBTI, which at least relys on a test rather than what month you were born in.

I know alot of libran people, and believe me some of us are nothing alike.

Mine's Cancer and my moon sign according to Indian astrology is Capricorn.

I don't take much stock in horoscopes but I do comply with many Cancerian and some Leo traits as I am on the cups of Leo such as having a creative mind and being very stubborn. Also can expect to live for a long time and will never be rich....sigh...
