Well, how about your prove that message of the Quran is corrupted?, if you can not then you must give it the benefit of the doubt, hahahaha

The Qur'an isn't from God.  Its something Mohammed made up as he went along, its no more divine than the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster - which also remains completely uncorrupted.   Smiley

That's okay, I already believe that the NT and hadeeth are dodgy.  That doesn't mean the Qur'an is anything other than man made though.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I remain.

ahhh Afro but the thing is, how can he emulate his "prophet" if he denies the sunnah? Besides, Muhammad said that whoever denies the sunnah is a disbeliever, so technically AhmedBaghat is a disbeliever, like the rest of us! Cheesy

But did he say that in the Qu'ran? If not, you are relying upon the Sunnah to justify your criticism, when the object of your criticism does not believe in the Sunnah.

If Mohammed did say this in the Qu'ran, is it perhaps possible for you to cite the particular ayaat where it comes from?

I was checking out some persian prophet who is very similar to Muhammad. He claimed to be the paraclete AND the SEAL OF THE PROPHETS. Hmmm. check it out.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manichaeism

    Discuss!

Saint Augustine, Bishop of Hippo and author of "City of God" and "Confessions" used to be a follower of Mani. Manichaean dualism has been seen as a heresy throughout the history of the Roman Church. The Albigensians and other Gnostics believed that the physical earth was the realm of Satan, and only pure spiritual light was worth seeking. I remember a sermon about Manichaean beliefs where someone said that Mani used to drug people into believing his talk of heavenly Paradise. From what I understand of Manichaeism, it has little similarities with Islam, as Prophet Mohammed was an "earthy" human being, with a romantic life and a warrior's life, not a peddler of false dreams like Mani.

Manichaeans rejected all that was earthly. The Prophet Mohammed enjoyed what there was of this earth - his wives, food, and even warfare (when justifiable). That is the opposite of Manichaean principles, as I have been led to believe them from Augustine's writings.
