They're as absurd & unreasonable as religious beliefs, they spring from the same source- humanity's intrinsic need to believe in something more than mundane life on earth.

Don't be tripping on the word "supernatural" although I don't believe in miracles, but I do accept some kind of psychic ideas are powerful. When one is ready to make that quantum leap to a higher consciousness, to accelerate one's evolution, and desire to get better acquainted with one's essential nature, one would attract the attention of the spiritual guides of humanity. Imagine, the double-slit experiment, when there is an observer, the laws at the quantum level change. How can an inanimate object know it is being observed and then act differently? Hence why you can never make conclusive claims to anything, and disregarding this just because its not observed in scientific experiment is also slightly foolish thus beings or masters existing on a higher consciousness who can manipulate time and matter could exist, since does kind of point into that direction.

Of course not a supernatural god. Even as an atheist I do believe in pir and I also invoke my pir, and when I have "prayed" to my pir I think things have worked out for me. I know in the future I will be able to explain this when I have scientific theory of why I think it works.

A person fantasizing sexual thoughts would physically trigger the flow of bodily chemicals and hormones. Thus, a natural law is herein revealed that our mind may be made to believe and act upon the belief in accord with what we impress upon it. Pretending that one is inferior causes the subconscious mind to release the related energies in the form of chemicals and reduce the quality of radiations that would enforce and maintain that belief. For instance, feeling oneself inferior lowers the intensity of the aura, and hence, one's charisma. To be an Immortal we must think like one. Immortal concepts should replace mortal notions, beliefs and falsehoods.
