  • Who Said This?
     OP - April 27, 2009, 10:37 AM

"...Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups..."

This is one of the best sayings that I have recently came across. It is very simple, yet very powerful and self-explaining sentence....

Please can anyone tell me, who said this first? I like this very much and I actually use it as a part of my siggy down there, but need to say who said it....

    *******

I was talking to a group of friends the other day about how irrational some Muslims (especially the arrogant ones) and I used this sentences when the discussion was about what religion was and why Muslims or Christians think their religion is the one true religion and so on... and boy I did not know that it would have this huge positive effect on calming them down!!!

Obviously, no one would like to be labeled as stupid... so every one tried to reason instate of just be a total ass-like arrogant!!!

Because I think stupid people when they are in large groups they tend to be more stupid than usual!! (Skin Heads is a very good example!!!) (School Bullies are another good example!!!)... They will always be lead by the least stupid of them all, and rest become a sort of Zombie or robot-like army of idiots and do what ever he says!!!

The least stupid would just say!! Hey!!!! let's kick the shit out of him and they will just start kicking without thinking!!!

Anyways, if you know who said: "...Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups..." please let me know...

You may want to add another saying that you think very powerful and worth knowing!!!

I had an idea that it was Carlin but wasn't sure and couldn't be bothered googling it. So I decided to google it and still couldn't find out who said it. I did find some really good ones though. This one is from Carlin:

The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

    From here. Wink

I also found this site, which has some rather good stuff if you know anyone who is into those bloody motivational posters. cool2

Devious, treacherous, murderous, neanderthal, sub-human of the West. bunny
