What do you think of this outfit?

Its not so much an outfit as a T-shirt.  [/pedant]

Its quite pretty, but I wouldn't wear it without checking what the letters meant first.  I wouldn't want to be walking round with "I am a twat" or something written on me in Arabic.

I don't think I would wear that t-shirt then, not without changing the script to add ....NOT.

the thing is, arabic calligraphy looks pretty so you can see why people have it on their clothes and tattoos.

Well honestly, any ancient calligraphy looks pretty cool, that's why they make the best tats.

I used to have a lot of that sort of thing when I was a muslim. Hoodies with prayers written in the shape of a sword, that sort of thing. Never got rid of them. They're quite cool, but I don't wear them nowadays.

At the moment I like the whole (non-religious) Persian calligraphy on good quality material going around at the moment, for example:

"At 8:47 I do a grenade jump off a ladder."

They should make one that reads "There is no god named Allah and Mohammed was a tosser".

Well, I do plan on having the very opening of the shahadah (La ilaha) plastered on some cool fingerless gloves, in beautiful calligraphy. Perhaps replace the word ilah with allah.

Those are some cool designs Pazuzu, though I don't like any of them enough to buy them Grin. Reminds of some ideas I had. Maybe I should go through with those? Wink

I chose to get circumcised at 17, don't tell me I never believed.
