    I know that many Muslims have popped into this forum, but most shy away from direct debate.

    They know they simply can't defend Islam against logic and rational arguments - particularly when it is with ex-Muslims who know about Islam from the inside.

    Yes he does, you know why?  because everything is M'katub (written and predestined) which means from the moment that person was a bunch of cells in it's mothers womb, there was a book detailing exactly what it's life would turn out like, even down to whether that person is going to end up in hell or not.

    That is cruel beyond belief, what selfish self absorbed individual you are to not see the inherent cruelty in such measures.

    He seals their heart and mind when we mere humans know that nothing is concrete or set in stone, and a person could change course at any stage of their life.

    It's a retarded god who would lay out this kind of self defeating self fulfilling prophecy.

    Of course there is.  The contradiction between pre-destination and free will is something every thinking person is aware of, including muslims, they do some creative mental gymnastics to get round it, but the contradiction is still there.
