    It depends on a persons opinion as it is subjective.

    Me myself and I find that abusive porn and extreme fantasy porn are bad for society. Also porn that is done to women put under duress (either economically or physically) should be banned. Apart from that porn is like any other product or service available to society, it's not up to me to decide whether it's good or bad. Personally I avoid it and the same for the kids but if others want to spend their time watching women do disgusting sex acts on camera than that's their own choice!

    Not sure what you mean Kope. All societies that permit porn, are doing much much better than societies that outlaw porn.

    By better, I mean better standards of living, better education, much much higher quantity and quality of production of inventions and patents and culture.

    It is quite sad even that, the cultures that ban porn and production of porn, are also the highest consumers of porn, and porn by-products. And on average, the porn they consume is much more on the perverted variety then your average girl-girl or man-woman or your everyday orgy variety.

    All in all, I would much rather live in the porn-producing societies then the porn-banning societies. And the immigration numbers seem to highly agree with me.

    So Kope, judge a tree by its fruit. Not by what your imam tells you. Now what did atheism has to do with porn? Porn existed in the midst of religious societies long before the advent of atheism. Did I address all of your concerns?

    What has porn got to do with having no belief in a God?

    Are you using sweeping generalisations like all those who are Atheist are porn addicts who abuse women and hate their families because of too much time watching porn? Its sweeping generalisations on unfounded grounds like that which do the most harm to society if you ask me.

    Also, bear this in mind "theres no such thing as society" Margret Thatcher.

    Perhaps you should look to the people who are supposed to be running things for some answers as to some of societies failings.

    In my view it isnt porn, its a corruptive economic system thats causing some of the wests ills. The Conservative party in the UK under Thatcher were so corrosive to society inb support of capital free market, she claimed there was no society...now the same party are always going on about how they will fix our 'broken' society...porn isnt really that significant when 80% of the world are starving.
