    You must be very young - Rowan Atkinson first became famous in the early 80s on a TV show called "Not the 9 O Clock News" - a sort of Monty Pythonist sketch show he did with, Pamela Stephenson, Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones.

    I am 42... LOL I am glad you think I am young. I only know the Mr Bean series, my kids love them. Now I remember the Black Adder TV series... he speaks in them.... I only stayed for 6 years in the UK so am not that familiar with British TV. American programs and cinema took over the world of entertainments obviously.

    I remember the show well. I was a kid at the time. Part of the alternative comedy scene.

    Its all pretty funny apart from the last few minutes but 4:40 to 5:30 was especially funny, dunno if its true, but the visuals gong on in my head cracked me up - loved his arab accent

    lol, NZ seems to be getting a lot of ex-pat brits; as one Brit said, New Zealand is like the United Kingdom 50 years ago. I'm not too sure whether that is a good or bad thing lol.

    Pfft. NZ is a lot nicer than the UK was 50 years ago. For one thing, the food and coffee is vastly better (if you know where to look) as is the local wine, plus they don't have hot springs or decent beaches in the poor old UK.

    True, and most of our immigrants tend to be Christian, Hindu or Buddhist lol. so we don't have the problem that many other countries do with honour killings and such.
