    Apparently Internet Explorer 9 is going to improve things but as long as people are still using Internet Explorer 6 and 7, it is just going to keep going backwards.

    The alternative is always to push people to use Google Frame which loads webkit as a plugin which the website writer invokes a tag which tells Internet Explorer to use webkit instead of trident.

    Oh I am all for the Chrome Frame idea as soon as they debug it enough for general use. I think it's great. The problem will be getting people to actually use it.

    8 isn't too bad. At least it has CSS2 support that is good, unlike the previous crap. Mind you everyone else is starting to support CSS3 so bleh to IE. Basic html is still a bit bugged (mind you so is Safari) and the js/xml support is ancient.
