    Hadith - Muslim, #3468

    Abu Huraira  reported Allah's Apostle  as saying: He who believes in Allah and the Hereafter, if he witnesses any matter he should talk in good terms about it or keep quiet.  Act kindly towards woman, for woman is created from a rib, and the most crooked part of the rib is its top.  If you attempt to straighten it, you will break it, and if you leave it, its crookedness will remain there.  So act kindly towards women.


    I didn't know muslims believed this too Huh?

    Obviously all major religions (J, C and I) came from or inspired by the same source!!! Hey, have you noticed? That could be a title of a nice novel about religion.... JC and I,.... as in Jessy and I?

    I know but I wasn't aware that Islam agreed with the view of women being created from a rib. It doesn't say anywhere in the Quran, also the Quran states everything is created in pairs so this doesn't make much sense.

    BTW isn't Abu Hureira know as the author of many weak/false ahadith?

    Judging by the Quran I wouldn't hesitate to call this hadith weak.

    I was always taught that we were made from a rib, so it's a weak hadith with power.  Tongue

    Why do you think Muslims says a woman is crooked like a rib if you place to much pressure on straightening her she might snap.

    I've read this in some Arabic version of light wife beating.

    I've seen that one too. Maybe they're both weak? Or it just another contradiction of Islam.

    You are at the point I was at last year... I.e. when I gave a fuck lol I think it's beyond a doubt Islam like all faiths is rather retarded, and all folks who follow religion and potentially very dangerous and should be in a mental asylum until we find a cure for their psychosis.
