    I remember when I was younger and there was this museum which had an indoor glass balcony but the room was pitch black except for a few light bulbs and with clever use of mirrors it looked like you were in space and that if you were to fall it over the edge you would be falling for the rest of your life. I actually bought into it lol but I'm proud to say that I wasn't scared!  dance Just amazed...

    Nowadays though I probably would be scared, dunno why though. Heck, I am even scared of nearing the edge of a pond in case I fall in. Makes me wonder how I managed to scramble to the top of Mount Snowdown  Tongue

    I wouldn't do it for less than 20,000 quid, I consider it to be a high enough risk to warrant the price.

    May I suggest none of you ever go to Hong Kong.
    I onced stayed at a hotel, where the bed was right against a giant glass window on the 15th floor...It was pretty cool...just turn over on your left side and look down.

    Anyway... I dont see the big deal. Think about how high up you are in an airplane and look out the window, and there you dont even have anything between you and the ground.

    Fuck yeah. I love that sort of thing. I once had this idea for an ultra-cool bedroom: cantilevered out over a cliff on the ocean with a glass floor. Apart from the insulation factor (might need rugs for your feet in the morning in winter) it'd totally rock.  bunny

    Yeah, sure, no problem. I've jumped out of planes, I figure I can handle that. When I'm in very high buildings with big glass windows (like the John Hancock tower), I like to press against the glass and look straight down to get the vertigo buzz. Then again, I'm a sick fuck.

    Now those ironworkers who walk across I-beams on skyscraper frames like it's nothin-- those dudes got balls. I definitely couldn't handle that shit. I'm amazed anyone can.

    Well, that dude probably came to the US a few months before that picture was taken. Truth be told, we're not really pussies about it now-- many, many decades of immigration from Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Poland, Italy, Mexico and Russia and other boozing countries pretty much fixed our Puritanical aversion to booze. Anyhow, yeah, that's the shit I'm talkin about. Fuckin crazy. Don't know how people do it.
