Peru- lobster is quite pricey. Gal who had it was still full from a late lunch so ordered the starter portion (1/2 lobster). Seafood restuarants are your best bet.

Oh yeah! *blonde moment* Tongue There's a seafood restaurant very close to where I live, I'll try it when I'm paid.

Do you have a branch of Loch Fyne close to you? It's a really good seafood restuarant

Btw have you tried the new KFC Double Down?

^ That's sickening. I don't think it has been trialed in UK branches, yet. Have you tried it?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Bay_Seasoning

When you put it on fries, they're called "crab fries". Popular in Philadelphia and Baltimore. Add Cheese Whiz and you got crab cheese fries.

Chickie and Pete's makes the best crab fries, though. http://www.chickiesandpetes.com/menus/restaurant-menu/

Instead of putting Cheese Whiz directly on the fries they have this white cheese dipping sauce similar to fondue. I keep meaning to attempt an analogue of it. I suspect it is a mixture of processed white American cheese, white cheddar, and Swiss.

Nope. As far as fried chicken chains go, I prefer Popeye's or Crown to KFC. I only eat at KFC if there's nothing else around and I need food quick.

    fuck you

Nope. But I would like to.

I made this instead (added some pickled chillies and pickled gherkins and lots of onions):

Do you smell that? IT SMELLS GEWD!

It's basically a home-made version of the KFC's monstrosity. And it was quite nice (my wife and I shared one - it does fill you up) with a big bowl of salad and some lemonade. Shame I didn't take any photos.

    @Q-man

Sounds nice! What does it taste like? Is it quite salty or maybe on the hot side?
Visiting US is definitely on my to-do list.

Salty, aromatic and pungent, but not hot-- however adding some cayenne powder would compliment it quite nicely.

You know you and your wife have a place to crash if you ever do visit.

    fuck you

Eating a lot of burgers and hot dogs to celebrate our insurgency's defeat of of a superpower.  Tastes good

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?
