Summarize a religious concept!

This is a little exercise for the mind.
Take some religious concept that you think is strange and rather silly, and summarize it as much as you can.
The result is spectacular!

Example,

Creationism summarized: since I have never seen anything coming into existence out of nothing and since I refuse to believe that something might have been existing forever, then I believe that something that has been existing since forever has made something else exist out of nothing.

Do not look directly at the operational end of the device.

Hell-our all loving all caring merciful and kind father/creator is teaching us an eternal lesson by repeatedly burning us with fire 100 times hotter than the sun for making one small mistake.

Jesus Christ-the psychopath two face god has a hippy son who will one day stand up to his dad and say: "dont rape and torture these ones-there my friends!"

Prayer-"god might answer you when you ask for something, he might not, he might reward the bad and punish the good or he might do nothing-but he always listens!"-its like having a giant dice as a god.

What purpose did an eternally existing being serve aparting from creating the cosmos? It seems he only exists for this purpose. Once we have been given our places in jannah or jahannum is he gonna retire!
