Personally I find it hard to believe that the religion that started the whole Abrahamic bullshit off (Judaism) and whose holy book is imho the most violent of the three - didn't start this idea of Hell also.

I have heard something similar but i totally believe it.  I believer each successive abrahmic faith brought with it its own improved version of the religious meme, and you can see the results by the speed of growth of each one in turn.

    Mumtaz, mumtaz, bravo Hassan!

Greaaat video, I showed it to a few friends and they agreed, the film was very well synchronised to the voice and a perfect choice.

You've got a great voice for voice acting, have you ever done any such work or considered it? It's fabulous!

I think someone is making his own version of islam.

The idea of an afterlife evolved in Judaism. http://www.jewfaq.org/olamhaba.htm

The Rabbis of the Talmud evolved the idea of Gehinnom and Gan Eden, borrowed some ideas from the Parsis and voila.

Great video Hassan. Succinctly makes the point that a day of Judgment is just a nonsense and basically a tool of fear used by religions.

But you forgot to hit the guy on the head with a hammer for not accepting Muhammad as the prophet!

The sad thing is FalasteenInshaAllah seems to think he has a genuine rebuttal to your video, when he only argues that eternal torture is acceptable punishment for eternal denial  Huh?

With his logic Allah seems to know that the person would deny forever if he lived forever. That means at the time of birth Allah would have known the same thing. So why not just send souls directly to hell or heaven and bypass this earthly life?

he also appears to imply that an equal and appropriate response for denial is torture?

That was my reply to him:

Hi my friend Smiley Good to see you again. Nice video, but even if we assume that disbelief is a crime (let alone worthy of sadistic torture) justice still demands you punish people for what they 'did' and not what they 'might' have done.

Plus, the justification for this charade is that "the word must be proven true!" - if God has decided to punish people on the basis that he 'knows' they will disbelieve - then why not skip this whole charade and put them straight into Hell.

    FalasteenInshaAllah
so you wouldn't even let them enjoy this life a bit?

Just saw this comment on my video:

You are quite a hypocrite aren't you Hassan. Your opinions are yours. Thats fine. But I recall you stating many times that your vids are not there to mock or insult muslims. "I don't hate muslims, my family is muslim, my children are muslims". Yet all of your recent vids (as well as many on your 'softer' former channel) have been insulting towards muslims. Why dont you be a man and come out and make a vid stating that you hate Islam and all muslims. At least you wouldn't be a hypocrite then.

I am not going to rise to the bait though.

What we need is to to get members from here to comment independently showing the obvious logical approach you take as opposed to the trumped up charge that you are being hate driven.

These people need to realise that they can't always get away with drawing the victim/persecuted card.

Hey, Hassan! Since you're interested in raising awareness of yourself and your channel, can I recommend to you to participate in a Q&A session at http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/?
You basically introduce yourself a little bit and then you can answer questions posted by other users. You might get offensive ones, but that happens rarely. Quite a lot of interesting people have given interviews already, I think your life story shouldn't be missing there.

Registration is very quick, takes 1 min at most. My suggestion for a thread title would be: "I'm an ex-Muslim and a former school teacher (taught at Yusuf Islam's Islamia School). AMA." (AMA = Ask me anything)

I just registered but can't see how or where to open a new thread  Huh?

Typical. These particular muslims just can't seem to accept that criticism of beliefs is NOT the same as insulting people!
