    (Highlight by me)

I've yet to meet one of those. Not even on the internet I've seen one. I've met christians, who don't have problems with Evolution... but muslims who don't that is a thing I've yet to see(Neither tons of muslims friends I have nor the internet have "graced" me with their presence)

Good for you mate - here's a Gold Star for you!

Hassan - i love your quote "Always tell the truth. That way, you don't have to remember what you said."  Mark Twain.  In fact I always give the same reasoning as Mark Twain as I suffer from a crap memory.

So true. I've always loved going to museums. I used to go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC on a regular basis when I lived there....

I LOVED Metro Museum of Art...and MoMA....NYC has some amazing museums, as does London.

    I miss them :(

In light of abrogation, I think that quote should be attributed to me

What did you say to the "satan sent down the fossils"?

    And

I've honestly never met a practicing muslim who believes in evolution, I'm sure there are many, but it is extremely frowned down upon, (thanks Harun Yahya) and ridiculed in public. Maybe the muslims in england are more liberal? But that doesnt make sense considering that Canada has never had muslim riots and demonstrations the way some other countries have had.

No chance, they are less liberal than the countries they came from.  Its almost like they got stuck in a time warp since they left their homeland, they usually are just as shocked when they go back for a holiday and see the advancement there.

This is exactly my point as well. One would expect to find the same proportion of muslims wearing Hijab, their especial clothes or even having a beard in that museum like any other public place.

But I literally could count them with my fingers; Even the people who one would normally associate with Islam were wearing scant clothes, showing way too much skin for a muslim.

You people are correct in saying that there could be more muslims there, not wearing their traditional clothes, but even so, one would expect the same proportionality, as stated above, in the museum like in any other Y place...

Most Muslims I have talked to do not believe in Evolution. The few that do "accept" evolution, but they reject human evolution. I can't say anything about Museums in Canada because I do not remember the people there, but I can tell you one thing. I took a few philosophy courses in University and there are NO muslims there. There was one girl with Hijab, but the rest were not religious or christians who don't practice. I noticed that most Muslims in my school study in engineering/science/chemistry etc. But when it comes to philosophy/arts/history/cultural studies, they don't take those courses. Thats just my observation

I know two people who studied philosophy and they are both practising sufi muslims. It seems as though studying philosophy has made no difference to them whatsoever.

I met a Pakistani Muslim who was an expert on and loved Nietzsche (also had a PhD in Philosophy). While ostensibly atheist he still very much believed in Islam as a means to organize society and politics.

A-W - I get a sneaky feeling that if you were being true with yourself, then you would probably see yourself as verging towards being an agnostic.

But as you would feel disappointed with yourself, you see your current thinking as a phase and thus avoided having to realise this conclusioin.

    Am I totally wrong?

you're doing that slightly annoying thing again Islame where you guess what other people think by reading between the lines - dodgy ground buddy. I'm sure AW could hazard a few guesses about you too, and then you'd get pissed off - so why not save the psycho-anlysing for yourself Afro
