While living in KSA, do you feel safe surfing websites like this and posting your views openly?

As far as I understand, internet access and internet use is very strictly monitored by the govt agencies there.

I do feel safe, yeah... yes...I dunno why exactly, maybe i just can't hide my thoughts even electronically..!
    Maybe cuz it relieves..

Luckily this site ain't blocked, hope they never know about it..

I don't think they have time/tools to track down those who browse the WWW, they mostly rely on reports/complaints/emails sent to them, and after that directly block sites, and rarely unblock.

love your avatar NothingThere.  Whose neck does it belong too?

thanks islame. it's a cleric headshot bent and extruded and otherwise distorted to hell. to me it has an ambiguous look about it. it could be god or it could be satan or something else.

this is my first avatar, ever. i've been on the internet since 92. yes, the days of text email, usenet, archie, gopher and wais. and my first avatar had to be for this forum. go figure.

yep, i made it. bet you tried to figure it out by reverse-coloring. you'd be surprised islame, the raw material is everywhere. here's one: http://www.persiancarpetguide.com/sw-asia/People/images/Bio979b.jpg (no idea who runs that site)

hm, i wonder who that is. you think i violated any divine copyright laws? Smiley
