I dunno, but Gladstone was so hated by the upper classes of his day that they mass manufactured piss pots with his image on the bottom. I saw one on some visit to a stately home in Fermanagh years ago, so I suspect that whatever his shortcomings by the standards of 2010, he was probably quite progressive for his day and age.

You can’t hide ignorance and hatred behind ‘faith’ and think you’re going to get away with it just because you cry about people attacking your ‘beliefs’.
