Finally got a chance to watch your video. There are still quite a lot of sound problems with it. It sounds like your mic is being submerged under water every few seconds wacko

Hass/Tommy - do you get the same problem as PS?  You dont have this issue with your videos?  Do you use an amped microphone, or is there something I am doing wrong?

There's a few I want to do.  It will probably make it easier to show my favourites and favourite them instead (as I have currently done).  Is there any benefit of mirroring them instead?

I think the name of the channel is not catchy. Propably was better without the "admins"... Just CEMB. Just saying!

Yeah I know. Could be better but YouTube doesn't let you change your displayed name AFAIK. What I probably should do is make another one called CEMB Forum and give all EMO members load access to it.  dance

Oh and our channel now has a different title. Turns out you can't edit your username but you can edit the title.
It now says CEMB Forum FTW.  bunny

Now we just have to theme it up a bit with some custom layout and gfx.

    Islame,
Just a little error in your YT profile

    It reads:
If you would to discuss any of the issues raised...

    It should be
If you would like to discuss any of the issues raised...

Knowing Islam is the only true religion we do not allow propagation of any other religion. How can we allow building of churches and temples when their religion is wrong? Thus we will not allow such wrong things in our countries. - Zakir Naik

I liked it a lot. More dynamic than the first one and your voice is still cool.

Also, I don't see any sound problems

Maybe it's because I have hearing problems?

IsLame, I just seen the video, and it is great. however, I wish it was a bit louder. The voice is very muffled. I think you might need an external Mic. Maybe your PC mic is defective or your recording settings are not OK. Is your Mic Boost on?

I am sure Hassan has some good advice on how he has a good and clear audio for his videos!

LOL... I read it CEM Badmins too Cheesy

That's how I read it too.

I also think just CEMB (or COEM) would have been better - but it's no big deal Smiley

The sound is a little quiet - but I can hear it OK.

Peru - and anyone else having problems - try wearing a good set of headphones, that should make it better.

    It's completely up to you.

In my experience favourites can get clogged up if you are not strict with yourself - I tend to have to periodically remove all the music vids and other stuff I had favourited.

But if you keep your "Favourites" just for vids on the topic of Ex-Muslims?Islam?Religion - then that is fine!

btw To Tommy, IsLame and ANYONE with a Youtube channel - IF you are able to use the OLD Youtube FORMAT rather than the new one they are forcing on people then I recommend you change back to it. (Though I suspect that all new Youtube sign-ups have no choice but to use the new crappy format.)

The new Youtube format SUCKS big time. But that's just imho - feel free to ignore it if you like the new format  grin12

I don't have a PC (I have a Mac) and am no computer expert, but I changed my "Sound" Preferences in the Control Panel - and I'm sure if you do that, IsLame, you will be able to improve sound quality.

OR... as I said before, why not record your voice in another program? I use "Garage Band" and then save it as an mp3 (mp4 actually) and just drag it into iMovie (Movie Maker in your case) and add pictures.

The sound quality on my videos is much better since I started doing that.

Nobody wants to have to wear headphones when watching vids. If the sound is that bad people just wont watch them. I know I don't.

Actually I regularly wear headphones so others can't hear - especially when when I'm sat in my local Wi-Fi enabled Pub, sipping a pint of Abbot  Afro

Last year I was in that square while in the UK. Shame I did not know you then. I would have passed by, but mind you Although I am no longer a Muslim, I still don't drink Alcohol, so if we ever meet, I will be the one who orders the orange juice in the pub. Just saying so you won't be embarrassed!

Peru - I dont see why I am not getting this problem, did you set the audio slider up (just below the video on the right hand side) when you clicked the link on this video?

Hass, do you have a built in amp on your mic, or is it an ordinary 'in-line' microphone like mine?..

In-line mic built into the top of my laptop screen.

See that little black square at the top of the screen - that's my web cam - and see the dots on each side of the web cam - that's the mic (one of them is - not sure what the other dot is.)

Hass/Tommy - I tested it with my laptop microphone and it was worse, so I used a separate handheld in-line microphone with my desktop instead and the sound was better.

I noticed there is a noise removal function in audacity which I didnt use, but it seems to eliminate the white (background) noise from a video. I think the white noise might be partly to blame for the muffled sound was mentioned.   The noise removal function takes a sample of the audio where there is 2 seconds or more of silence, and then runs the noise removal function throughout the audio and it will delete this constant (white noise) heard in those first 2 seconds.

Do you always use this function as it seems to make a difference.

Sadly it still doesnt increase the volume which Peru mentioned.

I notice that the sound is better in your later videos than the earlier ones , but not sure what you did Hass.

P.S  I have checked the reviews and audacity is reckoned to be one of the best of its kind

I told you - I used "Garage Band" to record my voice now - and that made the difference between older vids and newer ones. I don't know what comparable software is available for the PC - perhaps someone can help with this?

Well this is strange. I don't get the weird sound if I use my laptop speakers, it was just when I was using my headphones. Weird...

Thanks, but I dont think it is the programme as such. I think its something to do with my hardware set up, or the fact that the sound has to be converted to 3 different formats b4 Youtube (audacities format, convert to .wav for Windows movie maker, then whatever youtube does to it..)
