Next one in the series - apologies for those who have heard these arguments b4, I am trying to focus my efforts on the internal conflicts I had before leaving the religion, and hope that they might strike a chord with others on on the same journey..

Islame, the religion of Hanafis(or Hanafiz?) sounds interesting, is there any info on this online? All I could find was the Sunni thing.

I'm not sure whether the crescent came from ancient Arab paganism; 'cos it was a widely used symbol in the ancient world, in Egypt, Anatolia, Persia and Mesopotamia. It's quite likely to be from Persia.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crescent

The wikipedia article says about the symbol being based on surah 53. I saw the reference for the star, but what about the crescent?

It should go viral, if you get hold of it.  It'd be a good doubt creator.

Some people attribute the prayer to Zorastrianism, and the prayer pose to Vajrasanam in Yoga.

I remember some patriotic and tolerant Indian Muslim blogs :
"I'm proud that Islam inherited it from this great country"
Another one: "It doesn't come horizontally. It should've come vertically" (from God)

Could see some similarity here too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syriac_Orthodox_Church#Worship
Only thing is that it beasts Islamic prayers by 2 extra ones.

    Evening or Ramsho prayer (Vespers)
    Compline prayer or Sootoro prayer
    Midnight or Lilyo prayer
    Morning or Saphro prayer (Matins)
Third Hour or tloth sho`in prayer (Prime, 9 a.m.)
Sixth Hour or sheth sho`in prayer (Sext, noon)
    Ninth Hour or tsha` sho`in prayer (Nones, 3 p.m.)

This is excellent stuff Islame. Once again you have hit the nail on the head. There was one thing where I thought you could have either re-phrased or added something else. If you skip to around 7:28 in the clip, you mention evolution and how it is popularly accepted amongst academic circles over the quranic/biblical Adam and Eve story.

You mentioned carbon dating in relation to it. A brief word about testing DNA to look for a common anscestor. Or even something about the fossil record and it's findings such as "Ida", "Lucy" and "Ardi".

I think using the word "evidence" instead of the word "popular" might have been more fitting, because it sounds as though there is some data or material to back it up. Using the word popular just gives it that argument from authority feel. Others might not pick up on it, it might sound fine to others. Have a listen to it again from that point and see what you think.

Another good one IsLame. Some of the lines sounds a bit familiar though!

BTW The bible doesn't say the earth is round as in a sphere, but one place it does say circle. A circle like the moon, sun looks to us with the naked eye a flat disc. Other places assumes its rectangular with corners. But definitely it rests on pillars and does not move.

Knowing Islam is the only true religion we do not allow propagation of any other religion. How can we allow building of churches and temples when their religion is wrong? Thus we will not allow such wrong things in our countries. - Zakir Naik

all your arguments are pretty rubbish. you left islam for no reason. if you had done more research you could have easily have found the answers to your questions. you wanted to leave islam. a good example of this so people don't accuse me of talking shit is where you tried to point out contradictions in the Quran. i spent 10 minutes researching these and found all the answers were in the classical islamic text; tafsir ibn kathir. after i that you lost all credibility with me apostate.

The majority of the Arabs of Jahiliyyah, did not wish to accept Islam and hated it but they could not question its teachings or the Quran and its verses and so accepted and converted. This was revealed in their tongue (a Semitic language btw for the benefit of XXXxThemessiahxXXX ) and they understood it better than you and nearly anyone on the planet ever will. Even now to this day, the vast majority of native Arabic speakers accept Islam.
Who are you to say that you have understanding and it is wrong and then try and propogate this message?
    How are you qualified?

    @ExMuslimUK
You are completely free to believe whatever you like, I'm sure it doesn't concern the majority of Muslims except for perhaps your family, we have bigger concerns.
I am quite sure however that you are not qualified to make a judgement on Islam and rule it wrong.
    Lets see:
Are you a native Arab speaker? I can answer this one for you, NO as you have already said you are of Indo-Pakistani origin.
Are you a scholar or have you studied Islam under the guidance of an Alim???
How when native Arab speakers still ponder and discuss Islam, the Quran and the meaning of its verses and how it is interpreted, do you believe that you have grasped all of this and are in a position to say it is wrong and now slate it?

    @ XXXxThemessiahxXXX .
I love how "Jews" always claim that Arabs/Muslims are anti Semites, we are Semites. Look up the definition of a Semite. What is the origin of the term and who does it apply to, I guarantee it applies to the majority of Arabs more then you most of the"Jews". Unless of course we are referring to real brown skinned Jews of the middle East.
Before you come back with a stupid reply, think about it... Who was the forefather of the "Jews" and where did he come from...I'll give you a clue he didnt come from Israel, the U.S or Europe!!!

Youtube have an insight tab, for youtube video producers who want to understand a little about the youtube statistics on their videos

This is one of the tables:

    Top countries %

    United Kingdom 22
    United States 20
    Germany 17
    Canada 5.4
    Slovakia 5.0
    Netherlands 3.2
    India 3.0
    Sweden 2.6
    Australia 2.2
    South Korea 2.0

Hassan are your statistics similar (under all videos>community (period this year)?

I am a little disappointed that there are no muslim countries in the statistics, and also the countires in the top 10.  Also surprised at how high Germany is?  Anyone make sense of these stats?

Hassan - I meant the country breakdown - click insight button under one of your videos and follow the links.

There is also a useful tool that even tells you how e.g. (only available to videos with over 1000 hits) at what second most users switched off the video, useful in showing at what point watchers are getting bored if you want to improve your techniques.

I am just finishing off my scientific miracles video from the science section in my blog - hope to finish it this weekend
