I just checked on Wiki and according to that, yes she is.  But she was born what was known as East Pakistan at the time.  Bangladesh only came about in 1971.

Can anyone post any good Atta Ullah Khan songs?

Alamgir was also born in former East Pakistan to a Bengali family but he shifted to Karachi in 1970 and remained in Pakistan after Bangladesh won independence in 1971

I know of another Bengali (a friend of my uncle's) who remained in Pakistan after Bangladesh's independence because his wife is from Rawalpindi  Tongue He does visit relatives in Dhaka regularly though.
