Meh. All the Muslim-bashing by these insecure right wing degenerates is just a 'flavour of the decade' so to speak. Scaremongering uses the ignorance and prejudices of society to justify acts of brutality and killing in the name of a cause. This Ralph Peters is no different than Ayman al-Zawahiri. If Peters had a militia under his control, he would have done the same thing as terrorists.

Ralph Peters does have a militia under his control. He specializes in writing US army porn and a lot of high ranks in the US army like to read his stuff and accept his views on things.

I can't watch this video, as Bill O'Reilly (or anything on Faux News, actually) makes me insane and my blood pressure goes through the roof, but I'm surprised at what I'm gathering about Ralph Peters. I've read some of his stuff, and he does seem to have an intelligent grasp on things. Perhaps he just acts like an arse when he's talking and can't be edited like he can in writing. I was introduced to his writings by another ex-Muslim who had served in the military.

I didn't really know a lot about O'Reilly but his interview with Dawkins gave me an estimation of his level of intelligence.
I wouldn't be surprised if he said something as stupid as this.
