Do you guys beleive in such thing? What telepathic experiences did you have that could be classified as telepathic and not just coincidence?

    I am all ears...

I know what you are thinking Ribs but you are wrong, there is no telepathy.

I always perform telepathy with my mates, I enjoy seeing them freaking out because of 'voices in their head'. And if you accidentally heard anything that's me probably  whistling2

I used to believe in all sorts of things.

Sadly I find no evidence for any of them.

I am sure it will be cool to have.

It will be excellent tool in trying to understand women for instance ;-)

Has any one before thought of some one that you have not seen for considerable time then you bump into him or her few minutes or perhaps hours later? This happened to me several times. The most recent was yesterday. A schoolmate of mine who I did not see for over 15 years was on my mind just 20 minutes before we stoped in a traffic light and he recognized me and waved and said hello. I was so amazed that I just waved back and said nothing... I donn't know how to explain this... Did I pickup some brainwaves of this person as he was driving in the same area? The thing is I was at home so if I was on the street I would have thought that I might have seen a glimpse of him without me noticing... This happened to me before...

Has anyone experienced something similar before? Huh?

Yeah, like when you think of someone you haven't heard or seen in a long time, and the phone rings and it's them. Or how about that feeling you get when you're being watched, you turn around and look in the exact direction you feel their gaze? Or a feeling of dread that you know something bad has happened to someone you love, and you learn soon that something has. The brain is amazing and mysterious, I do not shrug such things off as superstition.

I chose to get circumcised at 17, don't tell me I never believed.

Awais that was exactly what I am talking about. Is there any scientific explanations to such incidences you just mentioned? The things you mentioned happens to me quite a lot. One time I picked up the phone to call a friend and before I dialed his number I heard him say hello on the phone. He said that he did not hear the ringback tone as I have picked the phone up milliseconds before it should ring. That was too eerie for me. I passed it as coincidence, but when it happens more frequently than one thinks... then I guess there must be something else.

I was wondering: what if the brain can send something like mobile phones microwave frequencies... Something that could not me measured by today's equipments. It would be nice to go in the future to "Thought school" where you learn how to communicate using your brain waves or something. I guess, then, no one could say a lie ever again... But what would happen to passwords and bank account details? They will be floating around you? That is scary!

My mother claims to have had that kind of experience twice. I don't really know how reliable that is because you may think some person sometimes and later just forget it. And some other time you may think him/her and meet him/her. My mother forgets things pretty often so it may just be pure coincidence. Personally I'm open to possibility that telepathy is possible. Our brains work same way so signals in my brains would have same reaction in the brains of someone else. Of course those signals get weaker when distance gets longer and even if the other person stands really close then brains may not get signal that is strong enough. But some people may always have more accurate brains than I have. Another explanation is that some animal in our evolutionary line had ability to recognize other animals(especially predators) by listening brain signals. That kind of ability may have become hard to use when traffic in brains later increased and for that reason it became less important. If that kind of ability existed then it's possible that some small part of population still have something left of it.

The only coincidence, is if you never met someone you just thought of minutes/hours/days before.

Given the amount of people you randomly think about during your lifetime, it would be far more mysterious if you never took a phone call from one just after you thought of them.

Then there's our old friend confirmation bias - all the times you think of someone and then they don't ring you get forgotten, whereas the ones who do ring get remembered, leading to the illusion that there's something psychic going on rather than just plain coincidence.

No such thing, the human brain only produces about 2 - 3 W you can't even light a light-bulb with that that is at optimum output

Who says you need ordinary power for telepathic commucations, which by their very nature are a surreal and supernatural concept (btw a light bulb is a bad example, as it they are extrememly inefficent and energy intensive - 2-3 W is what mobile phones require, and would theoretically be all you would need to provide energy for telepathic communications - in fact bluetooth only uses about a thousandth of a watt!)

sry for replying to my own post, needed to add that it is still possible for telepathy to exist, however, thinking of someone and then meeting them is not a proof of telepathy. We need better proof then that.

what you said makes sense... But I remember some old stories about experimental telepathic communication between identical twins. I remember one sibling lived as far as in Russia and the other lived in the USA. Will find some reference to that soon...

Could very well be disinformation for any number of purposes.
