  • About "Faith Freedom" forums...
     OP - November 24, 2009, 11:03 PM

So.. I read some posts here and there on that site and I feel a bit embarrased to admit I naively registered there thinking it was a genuine secularist muslim site. Later I noticed an alarming amount of pro-christian material on the site and excessive number of supposed muslim-to-christian converts.

I have no personal problem with a person wanting to become a Christian. I just think it's exchanging one stupidity for another stupidity. And so, from the posts here I'm guessing that's really just a christian missionary site dressed up as a ex-muslim one?

I have the same name on that forum too. I think I'm gonna troll them with some Jesus jokes and see how they react.  dance

I think there are lots of secularists there - or at least there used to be. My main problem with FFI was the amount of fakes and bigots that hang around that place - and that was back in the day when there used to be some decent people there too. (Before they all left and came here instead Wink )

Good that they moved here. This place seems to be filled with more of my type of ex-muslims. FFI just felt suspect from the start. I find it highly hypocritical to use the ways of a rationalist and skeptic to debunk Islam then promptly and deceptively market another irrational faith.

Yes, it always really annoys me when I see the deluded followers of one religion mock others for being deluded followers of a different religion.

    Ahh... the human race!

    Amusing isn't it
