New Feature: Automatic quote splitting

Here's a little treat for everybody:

I implemented a very helpful feature, that allows you to easily split quote tags by just pressing Shift+Enter.

I will upload the code in a moment. Hope I won't screw up anything.

Edit1: Okay, it works for me in: Firefox 3.5.7, Opera 10.10 and Safari 4.0.4

how did you do that? I shift and entered after quoting, and it went to the next line?

OK I get it now, when quote someone you can split the persons text, without having to rap the split text around quote tags, as it is done automatically.... Good feature.

By the way, why are you posting anything when you're just testing? You don't have to! If the quotes aren't split, it means that it doesn't work.

Alright, looks like it doesn't work in Internet Explorer. I don't have it, so I can't debug the code for it. Sorry guys.

Install a browser like Firefox or Opera. Internet Explorer was designed for downloading their packages.

Sorry, but are the people retarded or what? I made the effort and included a little help icon right where the checkbox is. It's nothing complicated.

@Q-Man: I'm testing the Windows version of Firefox now. Yes, it doesn't work, but I'll fix it soon.

Seems to work for me. I installed version 3.6.

My guess is that your cache needs to be refreshed.

I think the this.nextSibling part is what is causing it to fail, if you instead give the div containing the help an id, and do: document.getElementById('help').display = 'block'; , that should fix it.
