    Yes, I did. I did say that the visible face of the ummah was seen to be celebrating. Did we see any groups of Muslims shedding tears for the lives that were lost?

    I also said that nobody bothers about what a Muslim in some remote location does. The visible face of the ummah IS ugly, Islame. If you wish you can blame it on media.

    Just think of the interface between Muslims and non Muslims. Think of how the Muslims come across, and it will be easy to see why they are being despised more and more.

     One thing is sure that  I never heard any kafir rejoicing or celebrating when some disaster takes place and kills a lot of muslims . Its really disgusting. There is no excuse for it and to expect that non muslims would not hate muslims for it is even more stupid.Muslims have caused a lot of destruction and as a result have earned a bad name on account of it so it doesnt really make sense to blame the non muslims for  their thought about muslims.

    But that is not answering the question, is there a reason you are avoiding it?  You're attitude is not that dissimilar from a muslim when he has been cornered on the Quran.

    I'll ask you a third time, its a simple yes/no answer.

    Do you think the majority of muslims celebrated 9/11?

    The only person who verbally condemned it to other muslims, in my community, were myself, and my ex sister in law. I think maybe my dad was a bit thrown by it, but he said we couldn't judge the muslims who did it, as they were our muslim family.  For everyone else around me it was a joyous occasion.  I realise of course that my tiny little corner of the world hardly counts for much, but for some reason I think deep down it was a win for islam, to a lot of muslims aswell.

    I was reliant on the mainstream corporate media at the time, and yet I still saw muslims in Tehran, for example, holding candle lit vigils and carrying placards saying things like "America we feel your pain."

    No, it's not on me. And "rejoicing on the streets" is shifting the goalposts. You originally said "I never heard any kafir rejoicing or celebrating when some disaster takes place and kills a lot of muslims ." You just added the "on the streets" part. I'll ask you a question-- would you consider it improbable that when a stampede in Mecca makes the news, there isn't a group of rednecks somewhere in a bar in rural Alabama raising their beers and sayin "Hell yeah!" then complaining about the sand-niggers? There are clearly plenty of non-Muslims out there who despise Muslims, and if you think that, of all the billions of non-Muslims on this planet, none of them ever celebrate when Muslims die in disasters, wars, or terrorist attacks, then you are seriously deluded.

    All I know is I didn't see this stuff on the American news stations, but the same clip of the Palestinian kids celebrating was played over and over and over again, for weeks if not months, on all the major network news channels.

    You made a claim that non muslims do celebrate the death of muslims and hence burden lies upon you. Btw saying "on the streets" really doesnt change the meaning.Celebration of death of someone is the main issue.I didnt divert from it.Muslim world was caught celebrating the death of americans.

    You are debating with ifs and buts. Where are concrete proofs? Even I can make claims like Majority of  muslim population celebrated in private the 9/11 disaster" .Are you going to believe it or can you deny that? These are wild claims. Btw whoever does this has to be condemned for his acts be it a muslim or non muslim and there is simply no excuse for it. Also regarding your question whether some non muslims would rejoice for the  death of muslims is possible or not I would say the answer is Yes but one thing is sure they wont display that publicly and make it a show for the entire world to see.

    That's sad.  It wasn't an accurate reflection of overall muslim reaction though.

    You are asking me something which I have no way of knowing. But if you are asking about my opinion, then yes, I do think that most of them felt elated even if they did not make a song and dance about it.

    I have lived in an area with plenty of Muslims around, and I saw almost all of them siding with Saddam in the 1991 war simply because it was Amreeka which was leading the fight against Iraq. I have seen them hating Israel and the US even though they had nothing to do with America, Israel, Palestine or Iraq. Did they represent the majority of Muslims? Though I cannot say for sure, it is not unreasonable to assume seeing their strong sense of belonging to the ummah.

    Don't you understand that the vast majority of Muslims see Muhammad through their own rose-coloured spectacles. They have a very selective vision of him and have all sorts of interpretations of what he did and said.

    Does it not concern you that you are saying that the vast majority of Muslims are not "good human beings" ?

    Our brothers, sisters, mothers, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandparents - are all not good human beings!

    In that case I hope you can understand why we are happy to villify Islam, but not the majority of muslims.

    The majority know less about their religion than we do - they tend to only know the good bits that their mum & aunties told them).  

    In general though I think the majority of muslims cant make head nor tail of their religion either, and pay lip service to its commands (thats the bit you see on TV alongside the suicide bombers), but act differently IRL.
