    Chepea,

Judging by her extremely positive opinions about the Quran even when she was an ex muslim I would bet that she converted back to Islam.

In my opinion a life without curiosity is not a life worth living

Yes she did tend to have an overtly positive outlook on the whole Islam thing, very much a sugar coater, even once tried to sell the Ramadan fast as fun if I remember correctly.
It was her naively good natured attempt to reconcile two conflicting ideas I found curiously endearing.
Did she ever claimed to be an Ex, if she did, your probably right that she returned to the herd, she had all the hallmarks of a revert, don't think her heart was every fully in CEMB.

Add Paranoid to the list, he's been lying pretty low lately. A good guy with little time for sugar coating.

Not to wax philosophical in a thread devoted to unadulterated pining and nostalgia, but I don't think it's such a great loss even if someone curious and open minded about ex-muslims like chepea doesn't "deconvert" or what have you.

Simply put I think the experience of engaging and interacting with a group of predominantly ex-muslims serves to enlighten and humanize our experience even in the minds of those who would theoretically be opposed to us, be it "theists", "muslims", or whatever persuasion. So no, I don't think that inviting open dialogue with people is ever a bad thing, even if they don't come around to a certain point of view, as the exposure to ideas and stories of our group is something that will stick around and shape one's views far longer than simple nominal religious affiliation...

    Hopefully.

I came on like I usually did when I was here frequently and checked the this thread. I thought, "I miss alot of people." I wrote them all down and started to put in my reply. Ahh yeah some of the people I missed were posting on this page.  mysmilie_977 Okay so I was the person that wasn't here.
I like many miss Chepea she was sweet and had a good way of engaging conversation. As some of the other, I'm sure she wasn't an Ex-Muslim. As I recall at the most she called her self a questioner. Rather a common of undertaking of someone in her situation in any belief or nonbelief.
I miss Yeezevee. I gather from reading that it was rather more like a ban or something  that has caused him to depart. If I hang around for awhile I'll look into it further. Yeezevee had away that was somewhat different to try and get people to think. He was a bit determined. The Mods are fair and reasonable in the ways of people so I'm sure they gave him had every chance.
I miss Strangestdude. We had more then a few good conversations. He had some ideas I may not of thought about if not for him.
I miss Paranoid. I don't think he really was, just angry and smart.
I miss Godot. Went from living in his Mom's basement in the the UK to living In Canada. Then what? Bsides who is going to help me with all my computer questions Over react
I miss Da_Dude. I picture her safe somewhere. I use to worry about how people could get hurt when I was just a nurse. Then I started to work in corrections and I realized how people could be hurt by other people. Da_Dude told a story that needed to come out of her but it identified her. I suppose She needed to seperate from it. Those that know the real her must keep her safe and as far from harm as possible.

If at first you succeed...try something harder.

Hey Lynna  Where did you get that from?  I am here I am writing..  CEMB guys are good guys .. good nuts..

Well they banned me for a week or so and they banned me permanently  from that folder "Introduction" .. They think "I am the reason most ex-Muslims become Muslims and Muslims become ex-Muslims.. "      Oh well that is alright,  I have banned innumerable times in many many forums..

But you are right Lot of people are missing..

Do not let silence become your legacy.. Question everything
I renounced my faith to become a kafir,
the beloved betrayed me and turned in to  a Muslim

Well awesome Yeezevees, I could never figure out if you were an ex-Muslim or a Muslim or a Zebra or a Leopard changing his spots or just a Thinkerpainintheasslolsmartguy bunny that even if you do speak prefect Engish wouldn't just so you could maintain your position.

One of my new projects is to learn to speak and read Hindi along with Indonesia and Spanish which I can already. I'm sure it will only make my English worse..

Glad it was only for a week Cheesy
Permanently from the Introduction FOLDER?  grin12  mysmilie_977 So they don't want you scaring people off. Well people are in kind of a delicate state sometimes when they are thinking of going APOSTATE. Some are in real danger. I mean really. Of course you know that. But do you know that not every one wants to take the time to know others? So even I just say, "Nice to see you here Have a nice welcome parrot  parrot" I wait at least a week before tossing in a bit of religous conversation Shark. Cheesy Cheesy Not really people here don't know I'm religous.    poof     Do they?  whistling2

    Yeah that would be interesting.
Once sometime back I tried to get on a Christian forum, forget just which one, Yeezevee said there was an interesting coonversation going on. They wouldn't even let me on. Let alone give me a chance to get banned.
I'd like to see the list of forums he's been on and just try to get on them all.

David for being one of the only people on the forum who didn't succumb to the organised molecular totality of the soppy love ballad.

Seeker. I actually thought when he wasn't panicking with his crisis of faith he could be quite sweet. Hasn't been back since the restriction Cry Feel sorry for him.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

I haven't heard from Aurora in a while. She was quite the popular girl when I started snooping around this site a few months ago. Was it a name change or something? I haven't actually had the chance to talk to her but I wanted to :/
