    So when Muhammad saw Gabriel in the horizen, he said he had 600 wings. But did he really count all 600? I would get tired by counting the 50th wing.

    What are your thoughts about this?

    You seriously think Muhammad counted ALL his wings? Wasen't he scared out of his mind when he saw him and didn't he run away?

    ROFL.. I'm just saying *if* he did count the wings, he would only need to count 300... then multiply by 2.


    And anyways, angels don't exist and Muhammad was a liar. So... you know.. he was just making shit up in any case. Grin

    That's assuming he only had left and right wings, and that they were evenly distributed. Maybe he had center wings as well? Or perhaps not clearly divided at all? He was probably like, "holy shit that's a lot of wings! There's at least 4 or 500, but I'll say 600 just to make sure it's extra impressive!"

    When I was Muslim I always wondered what Gabriel looked like. I know in one Hadith, it says that coral, rubies, and other diamonds and jewels would fall out of his wings and he had a green couch that he would sit on in the horizen.

    Thats exactly what I ask myself right now.Apparently in one hadith there is one angel with 700,000 heads, and each head has 700,000 mouths, and each mouth has 700,000 tongues, and it constantly makes dhikr ALL the time. I think I got the numbers a bit wrong, but I read it once when I read the complete detailed night journey.
