  • New memberlist template and CSS for site default theme.

Just giving people a heads up.

If you are using the site default theme and haven't cleared your browser cache for a while you will probably need to do that and force a refresh (Ctrl+F5) if you want to use the memberlist pages.

I've installed a mod I made for SMF and although tis kinda cool it does rely on CSS, which is always cached.

Oh and for those members who haven't got themselves decent avatars yet (damn them Tongue ) I think I'll code in a default avatar. I want to have all avs linked to profiles anyway. Handy that way.  parrot

Note: the other themes don't run this template yet. They still use the standard SMF memberlist template. I'll be changing the Mystic theme over soon but may not bother with the rest of them.

Ok guys, all avatars (including the ghostly default av) are now linked to the member's profile summary page. This page and the memberlist are visible to guests and logged in members but all contact and location details are hidden from guests. Al they see is your name, avatar, your age and sex if you have indicated those, and not much else.  Afro

That avatar of abdalwali, well, it's a bit disturbing don't you think? Cheesy

Cheesy I noticed that too - it's one of the first ones.

I find it hilarious but am in two minds about it. On the one hand I think it gives guests fair warning about what this site can be like. On t'other I'm sorta feeling maybe it aint all that kosher. Not for the first page anyway. Admin vote?

Well, we can either remove the av, or change his username so it's not on the 1st page... he hasn't been around in a while, but I wouldn't change his username without his knowledge. I do think the pic is a little much for the very very 1st page, though. So I'd be up for removing it (though it is hilarious).

Yeah, I don't really mind the pic itself, but I don't like seeing it on the first page of the member list. So let's change the avatar...

Ok. He'd be cool with that anyway as I'm sure he didn't take his av all that seriously. I have just the thing for him. It's one Cheetah used for a while. Cheesy

Nice... suggestive yet not too explicit.
