    I can start.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon.

    Lullaby by Chuck Palahniuk.

    All of the Discworld novels.

    Animated?

The runelords. and with todays special effects they could make this shit look awesome.

Queen of the damned, but I'd like to be in control of the script, directing and production and cast choices, because the last time they made this book into a film they destroyed everything about it.

    More to come.

Inhale the good shit, exhale the bullshit.

    Animated?

That could be good too.  If they're not animated they should be directed by Ridley Scott.

Steven Erikson - The Malazan Book of the Fallen series. Well, actually a TV series would work better.

    All of the Discworld novels.

Haven't such movies already been made? I'm pretty sure I remember at least one Discworld novel being shown on TV a while ago. I didn't watch it because I haven't read any of the novels. Yet.

I want them to remake that shitty Hitchhikers guide movie. God what an awful movie that was.

They've made one or two of them into films, but they didn't really do them justice.

Yeah, how did they manage to fuck that up?  Huh?  Another project for Ridley Scott, methinks.

No Ridley Scott is not right for the Hitchhikers guide. Discworld has that dark humor that can work. But I envision the Guide more of the sharp wit, pretty bright colors. But I can't think who is right for it. Maybe Terry Gilliam. Actually Terry might be perfect for Discworld as well.

    Don Quixote.

Not a novel but the Sira of Muhammed by Ibn Ishaq. The 18+ version.

Gilliam's a bit hit and miss.  Actually so is Scott come to think of it - he's a great world builder though, which is why I'd like to see him make a Discworld film.

    Well
    Aaliyah :(

Was the wrong fucking choice for the part.

The queen is as pale as a marble statue, not tanned lol biggest fuck up already.

The book is just wonderful, it takes you back to the beginning of the egyptian empire, the first wannabe pharoahs, and how vampires came about.  In my mind it is epic, in the film it was tragically absent.

I would make it into the best god damn vampire movie in the history of forever.

Inhale the good shit, exhale the bullshit.

The Sira can actually be made into a fantastic film.

    Imagine the different versions:

One directed by Francis Ford Coppola.

    One directed by Darren Aronofsky.

    One by Roman Polanski lol

Polanski should direct The Jewel of Medina.

Dirty White Boys by Stephen Hunter. Actually, just about any Stephen Hunter book I'd like to see made into a film, only one has been so far, and very loosely.
